Virginia native & now Philly based artist Range Da Messenga is trying to tell you something, maaaannn. To do so, he teamed up with one of Philly’s soulful beat-makers & emcee, Hezekiah, to breathe life into “Gone.” Video director Rebekah “BGNB†Frimpong delivers a visual presentation for “Gone†to drive home an age-old message with a heart-wrenching twist: Hold on to the love you have, because you won’t know what you really had until it’s gone!” “Gone” is the first single from their forthcoming three-song EP entiled “Battlecry.”

The single was originally featured on his Art Dealer Chic Vol. 1 mixtape & had a relatively short video for it we posted a while back. As the popularity of the ‘Adorn’ single grew, Miguel released an extended version of the song & here’s the new video for it. Twenty-something songstress Selah Sue from Belgium does her thing with North Carolina’s own (USA! USA!) J. Cole on this Hip-Hop/Soul remix to her joint “Raggamuffin.” Described as “part Adele and part Erykah Badu” in her bio, Selah Sue signed her record deal by age 20 and has already done studio work with the likes of Me’Shell Ndegéocello and Cee-Lo Green. Obviously, Selah Sue is more than a pretty face! Check her out.

Quiet Dawn is a producer, arranger, and radio host from Paris, France. He does music in the Hip-Hop, Nu Jazz, Nu Soul, Broken Beat, and Deep House genres. This track caught my ear right from the click – a smooth instrumental melody that made me nod and bob. Get down to “Sunshine” however you do when a mellow groove comes through your speakers.
