Dave East – ‘No Coachella For Me’ (Prod. By Automatik Beatz)
Rising New York rap artist Dave East laments on why he couldn’t make it out to California for the Coachella festival this year with the help of producer Automatik Beatz. I’ve been diggin’ Automatik Beatz’s production on a few tracks lately. I hope he keeps up the good work. Unfortunately No Coachella for me this year either. See y’all at A3C.

Mick Jenkins – “Alchemy” (Prod. By Lee Bannon)
Don’t know much about Mick Jenkins, but I love the production on this particular song. It’s cool, but I wish I also had the instrumental to vibe out with it as well. The production is some late night cruise music.
Ludacris x Marshawn Lynch – “#BeastMode” (Video)
Banging! So much so you gotta believe NFL’er Marshawn Lynch (aka BeastMode) was down to clown in the video as soon as somebody asked. The resultant visuals are a damn good look for this “#BeastMode” single off “Ludaversal” (out now).

Frank Nitt – “Slippin'” feat. Illa J (Produced by J. Rocc)
Like the man himself said… It’s important to pay attention when Frank Nitt is spittin’… even when talking about how he’s been “Slippin'” (track produced by J. Rocc). Slum Village’s Illa J got something to say on this one, too. If you wanna go ahead and pre-order the whole album “Frankie Rothstein” by Frank Nitt, you can get the single today AND have some dopeness to look forward to. We linked it below. Just saying.
Coming To HBO: “The Brink†(Trailer)
“The Brink†looks like it could be hilarious. The trailer more than suggests comedy with a little bite most likely, as Middle East meets West. Jack Black, Tim Robbins… and some ‘you are such an American a$$hole’ quips from comic/actor Aasif Mandvi. Yeah, bet on it. “The Brink†premieres June 21, 2015, at 10:30PM EST on HBO.
Young Buck – “Not This Time” (Video)
Young Buck has always been one of my favorites in G-Unit. Good to see he’s back at it. Young Buck’s “Not This Time” dropped as part of the “10 Bullets” mixtape. There’s the version hosted by DJ Whoo Kid, but we got the raw no-talk version linked for you below.
Raekwon x Ghostface Killah Perform At Coachella 2015 (Video)
Last week, repping the Wu-Tang hard, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah took the stage and did the damn damage at the 2015 Coachella Festival! The crowd had the W’s up before the show even started. And when it did, even the DJ (Scram Jones) had to take a phone pic. Heads are almost guaranteed to lose their sh!t by the time “Incarcerated Scarfaces†comes up. And you might get a little misty when they do “Shimmy Shimmy Ya†for the late bro ODB.
Game Over: The Rise & Fall Of Atari (Documentary)
Dope! Holler all you want about your PlayStations, Xboxes, and whatevers, young’uns. Back back in the day, Atari was king! The console gaming system of the 1970s, game graphics on the set were low-grade – not even comparable to the video games in the arcades of the day
See kids, to play the hottest games out, like Pac-Man, you had to go to an arcade (a room full of big dedicated video game machines, aka a game room, probably in a mall or shopping strip). Through much of the 1980s you took quarters to the arcade, or a trip to a friend’s house to play video games (unless you were that friend with the game set-up). Hours of fun to be had sitting around a dinky TV, holding controllers with joysticks and “fire” buttons until your hands ached, and your legs cramped, and your eyes were a blur.
What ever happened to Atari systems though? New and more advanced home gaming came along for sure. But did you know there was a mass burial of Atari games – thousands upon thousands buried somewhere out Mexico way? Plenty more to the story – “Atari: Game Over” – and all you have to do is click play above for part 1 of it. Part 2 after the jump.
Jae Millz – “Legends Never Die”
Interesting. Jae Millz is the third artist we’ve posted to name a joint “Legends Never Die.” But don’t worry, if you were at all, it’s dope. Like we’d post anything else. Jae goes hard. So does the beat. “Ape sh!t, talking Caesar on the toilet!” Get the FREE download below.

Denaun – “I Told Y’all” feat. Rapsody x Scram Jones (Prod. By Mr. Porter) [Video]
Detroit emcee & producer Denaun (dEnAuN) drops this new video for his single “I Told Y’all” featuring Rapsody & Scram Jones. Unfortunately fellow emcee/producer & DJ Scram Jones doesn’t appear to be in this particular clip directed by @FrostIsRadso so this may just be a warmup video before the real one drops. Of course the feel good true school track was also produced by Denaun aka Mr. Porter himself. Be on the lookout for his new project called “StuffInMyBackPack” due May 7th.
