This is most likely my favorite song from Atlanta emcee Tez McClain. The song became an even bigger favorite of mine after I witnessed Tez McClain spit this joint acapella at Diddy’s former restaurant Justin’s in Atlanta. It should go without saying that we’ve been playing “2 Minutes Of Game” for months now off of his “Wishful Thinking Vol.2” mixtape released earlier this year. After appearing on our show for an interview, I’m glad Tez McClain took our advice in eventually releasing a video for this track. This that ‘ish right here…..

Challenges Of Getting To Mars: Curiosity’s 7 Minutes Of Terror (Video)

With the recent success of NASA landing the Curiousity Rover on Mars, we were reminded by Jose3030 of just what it took for NASA to make the mission a complete success. In the above video Team members at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory share the challenges of the Curiosity Mars rover’s final minutes to landing on the surface of Mars. Although there was no real physical terror for any person involved with this mission, the real terror would have been if it had failed considering over $2 Billion invested dollars was on the line with the project.

Not sure of what to expect of “Reincarnated,” the documentary premiering at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (T.I.F.F.) on September 7, 2012. Should be interesting though. In this trailer, Snoop said he did not seek out a Rastafarian way of life. Rather, he answered a call to it; a call strong enough to impact his music and his life!
So…short and sweet… Snoop goes to Jamaica to record with Diplo; and he comes back reincarnated as Snoop Lion. Like I said: This will be interesting…at the least.

(His bio notes stage shows in Atlanta and around his hometown; as well as collabos with ATLiens BackBone and Aleon Craft.) Damn, I HAVE SUCH A CRUSH on Dr. Dambisa Moyo, International Economist from The Gambia (Africa). Don’t tell me intelligence isn’t SEXY. Whew! Maaannn, I would have listed her as Eye Candy (because she is); but I want you to focus on what she is saying first. Among other points made: The way in which China (as the world’s largest remaining Communist power) is engaging emerging economies is MORE POPULAR and MORE EFFECTIVE than that of the Western World (e.g. of the United States). We must listen and learn; or to quote a favorite artist of mine, “Get right or Get Left!” (Shout out to Anderson Scott of The 5ive.)

Here is a frustrating problem: Pneumonia, though treatable with antibiotics, kills more children than any other cause (mostly in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa), according to the World Health Organization.
Enter the problem-solver! Hon Weng Chong, a 24-year-old student at Melbourne (Australia) Medical School, has developed a quick way to diagnose children in areas where health care is scarce. He’s built a stethoscope that can plug into a smartphone and doesn’t require medical training to use. Unfortunately, for now, there is a lack of speedy networks and smartphones in the areas of need. Sad… and the same problem exists in rural/poor locales in MANY countries (like my own, the United States). But imagine if we could overcome this obstacle… lots of diagnoses and prescribed treatments could be done doctor-free (talk about healthcare reform)… high-blood pressure, urinary tract infections… all kinds of one-test-one-pill situations. Improved health outcomes the world over… DONE!

I was underwhelmed by the recently released ‘Dark Knight Rises’ film that hit theaters, but I’m hoping actor Daniel Craig starring as James Bond in the upcoming ‘Skyfall’ film doesn’t disappoint me. I think Daniel Craig makes a great ‘James Bond’ & I’ve enjoyed the last couple of films where he took on the starring role. Expecting nothing less than great action, superb visual effects, & an intelligent storyline with this ‘Skyfall’ flick.
