A timely tribute to two of Hip-Hop’s greatest families – Dayglow meets Dungeon. Too bad that actual Tribe and Outkast project Andre 3K spoke of at Phife’s farewell ceremony never came to be. But heads do have this. Enjoy.

Savage was known as “Bee Stinger†when he was a youngster with the Zulu Nation back in the day. Now at 50, suffice it to say, those days are long gone. But to Savage, his days of suffering have gone on too long; and it’s time to air it out.
Savage has publicly accused Zulu Nation founder and Hip-Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa of sexually abusing him as a youth.
The Hip-Hop Nation is floored! Must watch (after the jump)… Must NOT jump to judgement. Savage is the only one talking here; but the talk is damning though. In the video above, he also makes a compelling statement in favor of lengthening (or even removing) the statute of limitations for bringing sex crime charges.

It’s not the Soul Train Awards it’s the Coon Train Awards that is taking place tonight at the Acme Comedy Theater in Los Angeles, CA. What is the Coon Train Awards aka Plantation Celebration all about? This is the brain child of Filmaker/Author Tariq Nasheed who has commonly used the phrase Coon Train in his lectures. Tariq has even created funny YouTube videos with a Coon Train awards theme song and placing images of certain celebrities in the skits. In some of the videos he has placed Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, Stacey Dash among many others. If you are not in LA to see the awards in person you can still stream online 10pm Est 7pm Pst. Phife loved his fans, and was so excited for them to hear his new music. I feel like he would have wanted it this way.
