Freddie Gibbs – “Automatic” (Prod. By Kenny Beats) [Video]
Heard that that ‘Uncle Drew’ movie was pretty good, all things considered. Now Freddie Gibbs… no need to consider anything. When dude drops something, pick it up and play it. We knew it’d be dope. But this is hilarious, too! Like this “Automatic” (featuring ‘Uncle Fred‘ hahaa)! Album out now.
Producer Teddy Walton Speaks On The Making Of Kendrick Lamar’s “LOVE.” (Video)
So, in this video we hear from the man standing next to the man (RIP comedian Robin Harris) on the single “LOVE.†off Kendrick Lamar’s album ‘DAMN.’
Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ was one of the most acclaimed album releases of 2017, with all 14 tracks hitting Billboard’s Hot 100. With each song placing on the charts, it’s hard to deem any one track the major standout. But “LOVE.†feat. Zacari was a favorite for many Kendrick fans, as the song’s lyrics became the third-most-viewed ‘DAMN.’ track with 2.9 million views on Genius.

Drake – “In My Feelings” (Video)
Ha! Anybody figured out who (or what) ‘Trap Money Benny’ is? Or this ‘KeKe’ person? And… nah, not gonna feed the hate monster. This is actually a really fun video. Drake took a long time to follow up, considering when the song first dropped and all the viral buzz of the associated #InMyFeelings challenge. But worth the [strategic] wait. LOOK at all the cameos… including the guy that came up with the viral dance himself!
“Scorpion” is out now.
How Important Is Raekwon’s “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” To Pusha T? Follow Him To ‘Shaolin’ And See (Video)
Makes sense. Purple being the color of royalty, Raekwon’s ‘Purple Tape’ was among the king-level offerings of Hip-Hop’s Golden Era. It influenced Pusha T. No doubt it influenced Push’s latest project “Daytona.” He says so above. Check out the clip and get the how’s and why’s.
You heard the Earth shake a bit when Clipse dropped its ‘Lord Willin” album back in 2002, didn’t ya? It was a big one, and the work Pusha T and No Malice did with Pharrell Williams is gonna last a couple lifetimes. So’s the strong stuff the Bronx-born, Virginia-raised MC has made on his own – ever since ‘My Name Is My Name’ arrived under the GOOD Music banner, the company that King Push is now the president of. In May he dropped his latest disc, DAYTONA, a collab with his business partner and creative brother, Kanye West. The pair worked on it in Wyoming, and as you might expect, Ye had a unique production process. In our exclusive interview, we take Pusha T to Staten Island to get his POV on a key influence, Raekwon’s ‘Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…’ See what he says about Shaolin culture, ‘The Purple Tape’ and how the classics shaped the feel of the tracks on ‘DAYTONA.’

The Hoodies – “Take It” (Prod. By Statik Selektah)
You may know The Hoodies from their buzzing all over the Interwebs, even doing a Funk Flex freestyle. The young dudes, big bro E-Class and little bro Young Poppa, are really good. Good enough to get Statik Selektah to produce this banger, “Take It.”

Maino | Freestyles On Flex | Freestyle #104 (Video)
Maino got bars! And Flex got apologies for anyone ‘in their feelings’ who got hurt by them (guess they can still go dance over and ask ‘KeKe’ if she loves them though). HAAA!
They cracked the fourth wall and dropped the facade of ‘off top’ rhyming for this freestyle presentation (letting us see the ‘bloopers’), but still pretty good #ItsYourMain #MainoStillGotIt

New school paying tribute… with dope rhymes like it should be!
Paying homage to Noreaga’s classic solo debut album, Heather B brought up the idea of bringing some new hyenas to the forefront to re-create the classic single “Banned From TV.” The Sway In The Morning team paired some of the dopest lyricists out to slaughter this classic beat. The line up featured Oswin Benjamin, ANoyd, Shawn Smith and of course, Big Pun’s son, Chris Rivers.
