RRose RRome – “Ziploc” feat. Jadakiss (Prod. By GQ Beats)
They beat that “If I Ruled The World” beat flip the f*ck up though, right?! RRose RRome and General Jadakiss went more gone than a Monica challenge on this “Ziploc” jawn. Respect to GQ Beats for the produce!

Like – “Miss Me With That” (Video)
Syncopated boom bap employed in the bangingest way! If you are thinking Like (of Pac Div) is anything but dope in his solo effort… “Miss Me With That.” His flows on this visual, in fact the whole damn “Songs Made While High†LP, are more than enough argument against any haters. Check it out – the vid above and the album link below.
Eye Candy: Kelsi Shay (Video)
Ah Playboy & Cyber – like PB & J, only much sweeter – for lunch! Tune into channel Kelsi Shay, turn up the sexy and ooooops… break the knob right off! This teaser clip shows that Kelsi is such a tease in the best way. Though the full clip is hotter, her Instagram is pretty ‘no chill’ too.

Nissan BladeGlider (Video)
Don’t tell me that tech is wimpy or that futurism is ‘nerdy.’ Well, you can but eff what you say… I will be too busy riding out in my sick futuristic whip, the BladeGlider!
Nissan has introduced its idea of the future of sports cars. The Nissan BladeGlider is impossibly thin, because only the driver’s seat is in front. The new design is much more aerodynamic, and the electric engine gives off zero emissions.

Dope AND great for the environment. Science!

Eternia – “For This Life” feat. Phoenix Pagliacci (Prod. A. Beck) [Video]
Eternia and Phoenix Pagliacci had to check back in with a video for such dopeness – “For This Life” (audio link via earlier post on here below).
The unofficial video pays homage to Toronto’s Annual Manifesto Festival of Community Arts & Culture which has provided a major platform for Eternia, Phoenix Pagliacci and many other Canadian Hip-Hop acts. The footage was captured during MNFSTO 2010 and 2013’s Ladies Cipher at Yonge & Dundas Square in the heart of downtown Toronto.
And this is the ‘unofficial’ video?? Well, alright then. Oh, and whatever Tara Chase was spitting near the end looked like pure FIRE!

Get Out (Trailer)
You see Jordan Peele – formerly of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele – on this and you are waiting to laugh; just holding your breath. You might wanna let that go, and take a few more. This gets real intense real quick. Says this is from Peele’s mind. What part? Wowwwww…
In Universal Pictures’ Get Out, a speculative thriller from Blumhouse (producers of The Visit, Insidious series and The Gift) and the mind of Jordan Peele, when a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend’s family estate, he becomes ensnared in a more sinister real reason for the invitation.
Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy (Catherine Keener, Captain Phillips) and Dean (Bradley Whitford, The Cabin in the Woods).
At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.
Equal parts gripping thriller and provocative commentary, Get Out is written and directed by Peele (Key and Peele) and produced by Blumhouse’s Jason Blum, as well as Sean McKittrick (Donnie Darko, The Box), Peele and Edward H. Hamm Jr. (The Box, Bad Words). The film also stars Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men series), Milton “Lil Rel†Howery (The Carmichael Show), Betty Gabriel (The Purge: Election Year), Marcus Henderson (Pete’s Dragon) and Keith Stanfield (Straight Outta Compton).
Truthfully, this could kind of play like a long Key and Peele skit. Like, if they were to come out and talk the audience down and make ’em chuckle at the end. Wouldn’t count on it though.
Mickey Factz – “414 Words” (Prod. By Nottz) [Video]
“I had $4.14 in my bank account, same time in the morning I had to think it out, same number of words I used to paint it out. 414, 414.”
– Mickey Factz
Now THAT’S math! Lyrics matter! And when the XXL cover really mattered (nope, can’t let it go) Mickey Factz earned his spot on it. Factz. Took a while, but dude is about to release his debut album, “The Achievement circa ’82” exclusively produced by Nottz. The LP has features from Blu, Phonte, Styles P, Mack Wilds, Smoke DZA, Curren$y and more and will be released on October 28, 2016. But first, let’s get into this “414 Words†video.
Jaw-Dropping Dwellings (Video)
No need to ask, “Do people REALLY live like that?” Even though the stories around the homes featured are so not-the-norm, you see above that they actually do!
In this reel, we explore just what “there’s no place like home” really means. Especially when that home is, say, an old airplane…
– Great Big Story
By the time the video is done, you’ll probably think to yourself: “You know what, why not?” I did. Amazing stories!

Definition Of A Down A** Chick: Miko Grimes (Video)
Full disclosure: I really did not know who Miko Grimes was. Not important. Her eventual husband did, and while we might infer that things weren’t always heavenly, hearing her talk about how she rides for him… man… intense! Might even say HOT. Something very ’90s Hip-Hop about this Gangsta Chick. Gotta admit that I like it. Even though I know she’s a handful.
Okay, two handfuls (wink). Do you SEEEEE that top? Fitting her where she’s so gifted. Wowzers!
Suffice it to say, Miko Grimes is the business. But she is well-informed and about her business, so you really gotta hope her man (husband, Brent Grimes, pro ball player) stays on point. Miko’s outspoken on some of everything: from the treatment of NFL players, shutting down groupies and hangers-on, and much more (as shown in the sit-down vid above).
Regarding career ups & downs for her former Falcon, then former Dolphin, hubby Brent, Miko gives her side of those goings down, too. Again I say WOW. Of course, I know Miko would absolutely DESTROY me (I’d fall too hard and stay down). But ohhhh, what a way to go!

DJ Yogi – “The Brunch Mix 09252016” (Mixtape)
How can a DJ blend tracks from Billy Holiday, Foreigner, George Benson, OutKast and GZA… and still not be done? Easy. Be DJ Yogi! But see, that’s where they eff’d up. NOBODY can be DJ Yogi except DJ Yogi.
Now that that’s settled, “Brunch Mix” anyone?
Romany Malco Reveals ‘The Racket Of Racism’ (Video)
Romany ‘Q’ Malco has been spitting facts since he was spitting rhymes back in the day with College Boyz (yeah, Google that sh!t). But this vid right here? Wooooo… KNOWLEDGE METER ON OVERLOAD! Malco calls this one “The Racket Of Racism.” Very thorough. Takes a bit of time (well spent) to get through. But the time will fly. Necessary viewing.
(Unpacking complex issues to simple truths. Great work!)

D.I.T.C. – “Sessions” (LP Due Out October 28th)
The D.I.T.C. Crew has got more heat coming at you, October 28, 2016, in the form of a new album, “Sessions.” About damn time! We’ve been getting hit dead in the head with all the banging singles. We are ready for the full-length, right? Damn right. Here’s what Diamond D had to say about it…
It’s always good to work with my day ones, especially for me since I played an integral role in laying the groundwork… true to our sound, gritty and hardbody.
– Diamond D
Chris Read – “Low End Theory” (25th Anniversary Mix)
Tis the season for beautiful tributes for A Tribe Called Quest. Did you see the earlier post on that dope mural; painted on the same building atop which ATCQ rocked “Check The Rhime” in their video back in the day? Well, now we have a 25th Anniversary Mix by Chris Read titled “Low End Theory.”

Cornell University’s Dr. Alan Hedge Takes A Firm Stance On How You Should Sit (Video)
All these years, we are thinking that the best seated posture was feet flat on the ground, back straight at 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the chair base. Naaaaah, son! That not the science…
There’s a lot of false information about the proper posture you need to use when sitting at a desk. Cornell University ergonomics professor Dr. Alan Hedge sets out why the 90Ëš rule does more damage than good, and what the proper way to sit at your desk is.
Seems like office chairs, just like those outside work, are for chillin’ (like in Altwork’s The Station, which we posted on here). That makes for a productive worker.

Billy Danze – “6 O’Clock Briefing†(Video)
Billy Danze let the single out the gate early last month. Now, he is chasing that in a video vehicle for “6 O’Clock Briefing†(posted earlier on here).

Eye Candy: Moninayo (Video)
Yup. It’s ya girl, Moni-n-a-y-o…
Did…did she spell out her name…like that’s her name… Or was she trying to be sure we spelled her name right? And no, I have not been smoking anything. I was just curious. Okay, back to what you’re here at noon for. Honeyz!!! And Moninayo – regardless of how you say or spell her name – is one of the sweetness. Please press play and bear witness to her sexy thickness in the vid above. Lovely ‘Gram link below.
The Birth of A Nation: The Inspired by Album (LP)
Right here, right now, you can stream “The Birth of A Nation: The Inspired by Album” LP. Its purpose is more than implied by its title… a companion piece to the movie. Heard it was incredible, the movie. Whether goers will go and view “The Birth Of A Nation” on the silver screen is a matter for each and every one of them to figure out. This music though, no need to debate or deliberate. These shiz iz the biznezz! Bangers by Nas, Pusha T, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, and more.
Saigon – “Blessing” (Pro Gun Anthem)
That just ain’t a weapon. It’s a blessing!
Saigon the 2nd Amendment advocate. NRA may not rock regardless, but damn them if they don’t. At the very least, the track is dope. Where you fall on the spectrun of the gun rights fight…your business. But listen to this “Blessing” (Pro Gun Anthem) track, because it is ‘the business.’
This is a track that gives the other angle of legal and illegal firearms in this Country. It sorta depicts the “I’d rather be caught with it than without it” mentality alot of inner city kids have today when it comes to carrying guns….. Is it right or wrong? You be the judge.

Making Of A Mural: Street Artists Honor A Tribe Called Quest (Video)
These are Hip-Hop hieroglyphics. Respect to Greg Poole. Been hearing good things about this happening, but this vid puts it in perspective. Back in the day… to now… on the Boulevard of Linden. A Tribe Called Quest. RIP Phife.
25 years after the release of their classic LP “Low End Theory,” watch as a mural honoring A Tribe Called Quest goes up at the site of their iconic 1991 video for “Check The Rhime.”
