Kendrick Lamar… The Alchemist… alright, no real logic there but logic isn’t what this joint is about. This single is a taste of what’s to come on “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” (due out November 5, 2013).

I don’t have the words. VICE brings us another necessary wake-up call about the horrors of human existence. This time: Syria’s civil war.
In 2012 VICE commissioned photographer and videographer Robert King to document the civil war that has been ravaging Syria for the past two years. Largely based on Aleppo, Robert’s footage of the violent conflict that continues to unfold in the region is perhaps one of the most thorough and brutally honest documents of a war that is increasingly destabilizing the Middle East as it spills over into neighboring Turkey and Lebanon. This full-length version of Ground Zero: Syria combines all six parts of our series to offer a startling glimpse into a chaotic war with no clear end in sight.

Vanity Fair tapped Don Cheadle to produce a short film for its ongoing series, The Decades. Don, in turn, tapped Black Milk to produce the score. Here is the finished work – “H8DES” – that draws on 1980s to drive its story. Reaganomics, the rise of AIDS and the crack epidemic, technology of the era… all in there. Watch above. Kanye West stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s show last night & performed his new single & my favorite song off of his new album “Yeezus”. I like the audio of this live version just as much as the original & this version isn’t without minor controversy as Kanye provides a funny jab at Brandy’s little brother Ray J in the opening line. Dope song, dope performance. Great setup for when Kanye’s upcoming ‘Yeezus’ tour that’s slated to kick off in October. You know Kanye does great live performances so I know many people will be waiting for this tour along with Kendrick Lamar.  BOUND!!
