Luenell Questioned Snoop Dogg On His “Ain’t No Fun If The Homies Can’t Have None” Lyric (Video)

Okay, Luenell came with the realest point with that talk about Snoop’s “Ain’t No Fun.” One of the funnest songs ever, as eff’d up as its concept is… But see, I don’t have a daughter. If you do, you might feel a bit different (or not).

Luenell shared her thoughts on our interview with 2Pac’s rape accuser Ayanna Jackson and the famed comedian questioned whether Jackson was “led to the wolves” after 2Pac left her in the room with his friends. She added that when it comes to men passing their girl around, Luenell says she asked Snoop Dogg about making it cool with “Ain’t No Fun.”

Comedian Luenell Says If Are Down With Her, Do NOT Betray Her (Video)

Wow… almost forgot about that ‘leaked’ Kevin Hart extortion video situation.

Okay, you know how some folks (even in your circle) will put out that diss/shot/shade energy and be like, “Oh, I didn’t know you felt that way about it.” Well, miss Luenell with every pebble of that bullsh!t. She tells DJ Vlad, and by your watching, you, that if you are down, please stay down with her. Otherwise, her loving care for you will turn into intensive care. And if she can’t do you, she “keeps a goon on speed dial.” Daaayumm!

Luenell spoke to VladTV about working with both Kevin Hart and JT Jackson, the man that recently tried to extort Kevin, in the past. The famed comedian said that if something like that happened to her, it would have to be dealt with in the streets.

Moving along, Luenell also shared her thoughts on Kevin Hart and Michael Blackson beefing, which she called “bulls***,” adding that it’s juvenile to “bang online.” To hear more, hit the above clip.

DJ Vlad

Soooo, don’t try to ‘jank’ on Luenell either. Got it!

25 Years Later, Ayanna Jackson Speaks On 2Pac And The Sexual Assault Case (Video)

Okay. That’s a nice-looking Honey though. Let’s just get that said already. But we know that Ayanna Jackson, the one who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993, has a story to tell that touches off emotionally-charged firestorms on all sides of Pac fandom & hate, assault & empowerment… all kinds of stuff.

Aries Spears Speaks On Black Thought’s Funk Flex Freestyle And Challenges Young Rappers To Step Up (Video)

Lean in around 7 minutes in. You are gonna need to watch this entire clip. But Aries Spears is speaking REAL LIFE to REAL HIP-HOP in this. Right there #ThatPart

And yeah. Being young, of a different era, that ‘old heads did drugs, gangsta ish and money talk rhymes, too’… stop it with all that; and hold this ‘L’ if you can’t.

Wack was wack back then. And it is now.

Salute to ALL artists for the COURAGE it takes to share your gift. Respect. But we LOVE dope music. At best, we ‘cool’ on the rest. And when we talk about being dope, we speak to the greatest in rap We mean those who speak to the Hip-Hop Nation. Folks we can stand on 20+ years later.

I submit all the music I try-out to a 20-year test. Black Thought and those of his ilk (Andre 3K, Scarface, Common, and many more) passed. I submit that Joey Bada$$, K. Dot, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky… will pass that test. But a lot of that work that Aries sh!t on in this will not.

Time will tell. And bet it won’t take 20 years.

He then goes on to explain how Kim Jong-Un also had a traumatic adolescence that has led to the two of them going back and forth.

DL Hughley Speaks On Generational Wealth, The Struggle For Civil Rights For Gay People Vs. Black People, And How Comedy Has Helped Humans Evolve (Video)

Black people are jealous of gay people… It’s not hate. It’s jealousy.

Interesting how taglines are chosen. This clip is actually a Part 10 of what we thought was a six-part conversation with DL Hughley. And it is entitled “Black People are Jealous of Gay People,” which is covered in here. BUT Hughley’s thoughts on how important and intrinsic comedy is to humanity are the bulk of what was discussed, and so incredibly insightful. Watch above.

D.L. Hughley opened up to VladTV about his thoughts on generational wealth, his favorite comedians, and how comedy has helped humans evolve.

When it comes to his favorite comedians, D.L. named off Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Redd Foxx, and Robin Harris, and he shared why Dick Gregory and Mark Twain illustrated the human condition in the best way. He also mentioned coming up with Jamie Foxx and being mad that someone could be as talented as the “Ray” actor.

After sharing his thoughts on how Ellen was integral in the way people saw the gay community, D.L. explains how comedy has led to the evolution of humans. You can hear more about what he had to say in the above clip.

Tyrin Turner Reveals That “Menace II Society” Was An Answer To A Prayer (Video)

How crazy is that? Well not too crazy actually, depending on where you hold the power of spirituality in your life. But according to the clip above, the “Menace II Society” opportunity (to play Caine) came along in time to answer Tyrin Turner’s desperate plea to the Heavens from his front lawn; right as moms was really pressuring him to get a job and live a ‘responsible life’ that he did NOT want to live.

Los Angeles actor Tyrin Turner here speaks to VladTV about the chain of events that led to him landing the role of Caine in “Menace II Society,” and the group of actors and musicians he worked with on the film, among them Jada Pinkett, Too Short, and 2Pac. Pac, Turner says, read for a part in the movie but wasn’t happy with his character. “2Pac came into the reading. We all started rehearsing and in the middle of it 2Pac was like, ‘Man, I can’t get into this character.'” Get the full story above.

Havoc Speaks On Coming Up In Queensbridge, Mobb Deep, And Losing Prodigy (Video)

RIP Prodigy for real. And if anyone, ANYONE, should be heard on that, it’s Havoc. They have been through it in all ways – on the come up, after the Mobb fame wave ebbed, falling out with each other, squashing the beef finally, and then… damn.

After the untimely death of Prodigy, DJ Vlad sits down with his longtime friend and the other half of Mobb Deep, Havoc. Havoc details what it was like growing up in Queensbridge, their first rap names, and reveals Prodigy turned down a deal to work with him at first. The producer then goes on to talk about making their first album, Prodigy teaching him how to sample and them getting a deal at LOUD records.

Throughout the conversation Havoc discusses some of the milestones in their career from the ‘Hennesy’ shirts, creating “Shook Ones,” dissing 2Pac before his death, their beef with Jay-Z, and what it was like seeing Lil Kim write her “Quiet Storm” verse. Hav also speaks on the rumor of P choking on an egg and the cause of his death before looking back on the legacy that they left in Hip-Hop.

Listen to Havoc pay respect to his brother above.

Kool G Rap Speaks On Mumble Rap, His Album & Tour, And Respect For Sean Price (Video)

I don’t think much of mumble rap, I don’t think highly of it…so many things that young cats are doing have nothing to do with the roots of where this thing started from.
Kool G Rap

Ah! This clip might sting a bit. See, Kool G Rap gets around to [more than] inferring that the surge in popularity of “mumble rap” is the listeners’ fault! Come on… There is a song called “Peek A Boo”… A cat is out here getting MAJOR check from a song called “Peek A Boo.”

Yeah. That’s where we are with the rap that the masses love out here today.

Damn.

(But hey, that new Kool G Rap is LOADED with features from LYRICISTS though… including Sean Price!)
