Now this is a documentary I’m very interested in seeing. Today there are literally thousands of adult people who grew up not knowing their fathers because they were products of artificial insemination through sperm donors. In this upcoming documentary called ‘Donor Unknown’ a group of adult children will meet their biological father for the first time but his circumstances & the true picture of who he really is may shatter the ideal of what they expected.

Producer Dallas Austin, producer for some of the biggest names in R&B and Pop has a new production tool that is releasing soon. Its portable and has a internal rechargeable battery with a 4 hour life and is filled with tons of sounds and samples. A tool is a just that a tool, The person who wields it is what makes the difference. There aren’t wack production tools, just wack producers. With a debut price of $1,500 and a limited supply it will be interesting to see if this machine catches on.

Then on to Atlanta’s own Salem Psalms Library “SPL” to record the Beatz & Lyrics Show 10 Yr Anniversary A3C Mixtape (recorded entirely during the A3C Festival) .
With over 150 true school artists in town performing at the festival, we were able to celebrate the 10 Years of work Jayforce and his team have put in to preserve hip hop culture from its grass roots level. Having the undying dedication of people like Montez and Twice Born “the God,” the Beatz & Lyrics Show has been a powerhouse for supporting community by the law of “Good Music First”.

Fl Studio App for the iPad

ImageLine creators of the popular production software Fruity Loops have taken a lot of heat for their refusal to take the software to the MAC OSX. With the announcement of FL Studio app for iPad they may be on their way to giving the switch that many of their users clamor for. The app will allow you to make beats on the iPad, iPod, and iPhone then load them to the PC desktop version of FL Studio if you want. The questions still remain about a full apple FL Studio Suite but this seems like a step in that direction. There is not release date set yet for the app but ImageLine says it will be available soon.

Young Jezzy, Polow Da Don, & Other Artists Owe Atlanta Recording Studios Thousands?

CBS Atlanta obtain invoices and court rulings for unpaid studio time for many of Atlanta’s notable Hip Hop artists and producers. Some of the unpaid debt reaches sums in excess of $20,000. After finding out about the CBS news report Jeezy paid the $20,000 he owed to 11th Street Studios in Atlanta, Ga. Producer Polow Da Don’s management disputes the charges levied to him by an engineer named Tony Terrebonne who is seeking over $20,000 for work he did for the producer. CBS reports that hit maker Jazze Pha has the highest amount of money owed at $135,000 dollars to several different studios.

Cassidy Arrested For Murder & Two Attempted Murder Charges In Philly

Philadelphia-based rapper Cassidy was arrested this weekend in New Jersey on a probation violation, but is also a suspect in a murder & two attempted murder cases. Philadelphia police told their Hackensack, New Jersey police counterparts “to consider this person armed and dangerous,†and this was a “high-risk warrant.â€
Cassidy, born Barry Adrian Reese, was taken into custody without incident on Saturday in Hackensack on a warrant issued for Philadelphia police, says NorthJersey.com.
The warrant was for violating probation, Hackensack police said.
In 2006, Cassidy was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in a West Oak Lane shooting case, and he was sentenced to 11 and a half to 23 months in jail.
It was unclear why police felt Cassidy violated his probation.
