Oh, and wait, do I have to get ‘dirty’ and stuff?” Hahaaa!
Fix your car…in VR!
It’s time to get your car ready for racing without getting your hands dirty. “Wrench” is an indie game for virtual reality that lets players assemble photorealistic components for a custom race car. Players diagnose problems with their speed machines and try to fix them.
The game is still in development, and the developers say it won’t include any driving simulation either.

Vertical farms use less land, less water, less energy… and seem to be more efficient at producing food. Facts. But don’t take my word. The video says so, and I am sure the claims are verifiable if you want to go looking.
Me? I hope the authorities are looking into vertical farms. We have almost 7 billion people on this rock, and a lot are going malnourished and hungry.

Crazy… like a genius. Yep, real-life Tony Stark (you know, billionaire tech futurist Elon Musk) leaving President Trump’s advisory cabal has left him with more time/energy to put into going to, landing on & living on Mars… making super-cool cars that come when you call them & drive themselves…
Now, we know that we can reduce traffic glut & stress (on people and our environment) if we relied more on high-tech, mass transit, or some combo of the two. But we LOVE being in our own cars (e.g. our own personal travel spaces). So how about this: Musk’s new tunneling business, Boring Company (‘boring’ like ‘drilling’), instead of pushing people onto buses and trains, is trying to make it possible to get our CARS on board. Where do you think the inspiration for the old mobile flip phones (‘Kirk to Enterprise’) and the iPad technology (thank you for the report, Yeoman Lady-In-The-Tight-Miniskirt) came from? Yeah, STAR TREK!
Of course, the whole make-a-copy-and-destroy-the-original idea that drives this… not really feeling that.

Wowww! The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute and Ford tricked out a vehicle like they did for KITT on ‘Knight Rider’ back in the ’80s. A person, disguised as a seat, is doing the driving… for now. But this is more scientific / industry study than a campy action-tech series featuring ‘The Hoff.’Â Way more!
As the self-driving future nears, we’re testing the next phase in autonomous technology to learn how these vehicles can communicate with pedestrians. We worked with the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute to explore this new development, and see how pedestrians on campus reacted to a vehicle that appeared to be driving itself.

Okay, let me beat you vroom-vroom car enthusiasts to the punch. Zero to 55mph in 9 seconds is certainly NOT blowing the doors off anything. But c’mon son, 300 miles on one tank AND no emissions at all… Slow ya roll and save the world… literally!
The Rasa car is powered entirely by hydrogen and looks straight out of a James Bond movie. It can reach 55 mph in 9 seconds.

So all we need to do is get a bunch government agencies and companies to push the design, manufacture, implementation, and maintenance of a high-speed magnetic transport tube tech that can be loaded and unloaded while maintaining a vacuum that allows for the minimal resistance supersonic travel. Admittedly, no small feat. But look. We now see proof that it can be done!

A new device has been developed at The Ohio State University, which turns cells into other types of cells required for treating diseased conditions. During testing, one touch completely repaired injured legs of mice over three weeks!
