Sure, Harriet Tubman led slaves away from the South to escape slavery… the Jim Crow and Civil Rights black & white photos and videos show the South as the true ‘home’ of racism… BUT, let Franchesca Ramsey hip you to fact that racism ain’t just in the South good buddy!
While the stereotypical racist in the US might be a southern good ole boy, the reality is that “progressive” Northern and Western states have had a pretty long and terrible history with racism as well. Whether it’s the history of sundown towns that threatened violence against people of color if they were found there after dark, the incredibly racist founding of Oregon, or the long history of redlining to prevent home ownership, it seems like racism certainly wasn’t and isn’t just a southern phenomenon.

Kwesy Mojo was born and raised in Africa but now resides in the states. He like most youths when they hear HipHop fell in love with it and sought to add his own twist to the genre. The first visual off his latest mixtape titled Self Help is for the track Burn the Industry. Shot in his native homeland Ghana he brings to life how he plans to shake things up and Burn up the Industry. Directed by Kobe N. According to Bossip and others’ interpretations, Cons said on Power 106 that he and Kanye West actually came up with the verses for “Encore” off “The Black Album.” Is he saying that Jay wasn’t even involved in conceiving the rhyme? You see… it’s not the size of… Nah, #$%! that, homies. That Airlander 10 is a big azz airship; the biggest that ever took to the skies! Why’s any of this matter? Well, check this out:
The ship is part  helicopter, part blimp and at 92 meters (301 feet) long it is the largest aircraft in the world. Though its maiden flight was only 15 minutes, flights when it enters normal operations could be as long as five days and night with passengers or up to two weeks at a time when controlled remotely and unmanned.

The National Conventions Are Over. The Battle For The U.S. Presidency Truly Begins (Video)

One week after the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Democrats from both near and far set their sites on the City of Brotherly Love for the 2016 Democratic National Convention. National, International and local media converged on the Wells Fargo Center for this star-studded event attended by Hollywood A-listers, civil rights activists, hall of fame athletes and thousands of Democratic supporters.
The culmination of four days of notable keynote speakers kept both delegates and attendees engaged. A host of speakers which led to endorsements for Hillary included one-time presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, Senator Cory Booker, First Lady Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, President Barack Obama and many more.
The DNC brought excitement to the city of Philadelphia although it wasn’t met without any drama. Bernie Sanders’ supporters voiced their disapproval of Hillary throughout the week and several arrests were made. One thing is sure: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will battle for the title of the 45th President of the United States and may the best candidate win.

Huacachina: A Real-Life Desert Lagoon (Video)

Ay yooooo! Jayforce, I got your next passport stamp opp right here. A desert trip is one thing, but to go to a genuine Omar Sharif oasis joint. What?!!
Amid the rolling sand dunes of this Peruvian desert, an oasis springs from nowhere, adding life to the landscape. Legend has it that the lagoon was created when a princess fled her would-be captor and left the water she had been bathing in, which became the lagoon. Today, this naturally occurring oasis has a surrounding village, Huacachina, with a population of about 100 residents.
