Yasiin Bey On Politics And Rap, And Weighs In On The Possibility Of Another Mayweather/McGregor Event, “No. HELL NO!” (Video)

Interesting point Yasiin made, speaking on Mayweather vs. McGregorConor just took a page out of Floyd’s book. We saw it. Barking it up, making it an event (rather than a fight, we saw it was NOT a fight).

Floyd Mayweather’s “Lucky 7” Ladies Take Care Of All His Needs (Video)

Money Mayweather talking to that puppet Diego is not so much awkward as it is HILARIOUS!! Okay, he does slip in something for the haters – that he is ‘7 deep’ in women, and he is a confirmed bachelor… seeing NO need for a wife. Floyd is a confirmed bachelor… and superhero. Hahaa! Yeah, watch.

Conor McGregor’s Lookalike Fooled Many Fans At Times Square In NYC (Video)

Wow. Well, depending on how this ‘super fight’ turns out, this Conor lookalike could be really happy or sad with all this fanfare. Crazy the resemblance (sorta) and reactions though (definitely). Check out the clip above.

I was told on many occasions that I look very much like Conor McGregor, and, one day, I dared to baffle Los Angeles with a sudden appearance of the ‘UFC star.’ The news about Conor’s doppelganger made a lot of noise in the world of UFC and hit the headlines of major sources. So, today we are taking New York out for a spin, which turned out to be even more combustible than LA. We are big fans of Conor’s, and these pranks are dedicated to his upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather. We wish him nothing but victory, health, and continuing domination over his rivals.

Sports: Floyd Mayweather And Conor McGregor Will Fight August 26th (Video)

The fans wanted to see this fight… and it will be the biggest fight ever in the history of two people punching each other.
– UFC President Dana White

Respect for the sweet science or claims of cage fighting’s supremacy aside, Dana’s probably right. This fight has plenty of haters, each of its combatants have plenty of haters, and both boxing and UFC have haters. With that much hateration – and even more folks who follow either or both Mayweather and McGregor in the nation – this is another event to net Floyd triple figures easy!

And some pretty juicy scraps for everyone else involved.

Like it or love it (and Stephen A. will tell you which L he’s taking above, hahaa)… the fight is on! Hitting pay-per-view screens in August… It’s Showtime!

Rewind: Raekwon Trains A Young ‘Pretty Boy Floyd’ Mayweather In His “100 Rounds” Clip (Video)

It’s wild how I almost forgot that a young ‘Pretty Boy’ Floyd Mayweather before he was ‘Money Mayweather’, appeared in this ‘100 Rounds’ video from Raekwon’s sophomore album “Immobilarity.”   A key thing I observed in replaying the video was scenes of Floyd Mayweather chopping wood as part of his early exercise routine.  In a recent interview with Stephen A. Smith he mentioned how he had to get back to the exercise he had all but abandoned prior to signing on to fight Manny Pacquiao in what will undoubtedly be the biggest fight of his career.  Pretty Boy Floyd’s boxing record was 4-0 at the time the video was shot & his fellow boxing homie at the time, Zab Judah, also makes a cameo in the video as well.  Raekwon definitely was ahead of his time in picking winners. If he’s feeling lucky out in Vegas he may want to put some down on Mayweather again. (Ghostface Voice) “Cash in son! Cash in!” Hahaaa….Wow! Funny how time flies man.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather Talks About His Tough Youth, ‘Toys,’ Manny Pacquiao And More With Stephen A. Smith (More)

“I have to…because he’s not just any other fighter.” – Floyd Mayweather

Stephen A. Smith was able to pull some good insights from Floyd Mayweather in this ESPN ‘All Access’ episode. For one, Mayweather was NOT ducking the upcoming ‘fight of the century’ AND an important two, he is preparing for his bout with Manny Pacquiao harder than he has for anyone in quite some time. Chopping wood, going old school with training techniques and intensity like a ‘Rocky’ movie. Despite the expected bravado, Floyd is SERIOUS about this upcoming fight (this Saturday, May 2nd)!

Now, okay. Fair warning: Co-host Skip Bayless is going to throw shade at Floyd (ex: “Now I KNOW he’s going to lose”). Look past that though, he touches on concerns expressed by insiders and onlookers worldwide: Mayweather’s ‘bluster’ compensating for a real ‘fear’ of Pacquiao, being embarrassed into finally making the fight, otherwise risking a lackluster legacy (were he to retire never fighting an obvious contender for his titles), and advanced age (38 years old) as a boxer, among other things.

WATCH! Great episode. Good point brought up by guest Michael Rappaport later in this culled-together clip, too. Everyone should hope for a good fight with a clear winner; and that there will be no shenanigans (interruptions by parachuters, bad decisions by the judges, etc.).

Of course, we also get a look at the house, the million-dollar car collection… you know the ‘toys’ (fun, but SERIOUS blingage)!

Sports Analyst Bomani Jones Speaks on How Boxing Brings Out Beastly Instincts In Every Race (Video)

“These things matter so much that, when it came time to root against the Germans, America jumped behind Joe Louis’ Black ass!”

HAHAHAAAAA! It’s funny. People think I make everything about race, but I’ve had NO ONE tell me I was wrong on this one. Dude speaking TRUTH above. Things can get involved, violent even… race vs. race… culture vs. culture… around boxing events. And like he said, don’t get involved in the ‘fight after the fight’ … Your opponent will likely be fighting for the PRIDE OF A NATION! Funny and true. Admit it.

50 Cent May Be Getting Into Boxing (Sports)

50 Cent (second from right), a longtime friend of Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (center), may be launching a promotional outfit that is said to include Yuriorkis Gamboa (right). (Credit: AP)

Fiddy may be looking to take The Money Team into a new arena…a boxing arena. Seen often with his likely boxing promotion partner – flamboyant Floyd Mayweather, Jr., – 50 Cent apparently looks to go platinum as a promoter of pugilism (say that five times fast). Word has it that TMT (short for The Money Team) Promotions expects to sign former featherweight title holder Yuriorkis Gamboa and super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell. None of this is official, but Nevada state athletic commissioner Keith Kizer says TMT is applying for a license in the state. – Chris Mannix,
