This video is a response video to a viral clip of gay men threatening to steal & marry straight men’s girlfriends. Although many gay men & women have plenty in common that ridiculous idea would backfire like crazy. I would say this comedic skit accurately breaks down how most heterosexual men feel about these so-called ‘threats’. What makes this clip so funny is many of the points made in this video are true. Hahaaaa! “Marry our girlfriends, ’cause we’re not going to.” (Side note: Best line of the vid: ‘Mother…f#cking…STEAKS!’ Watch for it.)

JetSetter: San Juan, Puerto Rico (Video)

I’ve been to Puerto Rico a few times & it’s a great place to take your girlfriend, wife, or significant other. It’s one of those places that you don’t have to worry about converting money because they use U.S. dollars & you also don’t need a passport should you just want to hop on a flight & go at the last minute. Recently in the news the Puerto Rican people voted successfully in favor of becoming the 51st state of the U.S. There’s still more hurdles that may need to take place in congress & in the U.S. Senate, but this maybe a time for people to go check it out should any of those types of changes occur that may affect the true character of the island in the next few years. Big Boi x Little Dragon Perform ‘Mama Told Me’ On Jimmy Fallon (Video)

I remember a while back Big Boi tweeted that he was working with Little Dragon for a song on his new album ‘Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors’ that drops this Tuesday December 11th. Upon glancing over the tracklisting I’m surprised to see a few songs featuring Little Dragon will make the album. One of my favorites singles from the album “Mama Told Me” featuring Kelly Rowland was originally done with the Swedish band as well. Check out the video of Big Boi & Little Dragon performing “Mama Told Me” on Jimmy Fallon last night above then download the original version of the song below.

The initial interview was conducted a year ago, but they add some new interviews as they follow up with Mike Tyson’s life today living in Las Vegas. There’s a number of interesting stories Mike tells in this interview including the time he caught Brad Pitt having sex with his former wife Robin Givens.

Roc Marciano’s critically acclaimed “Reloaded” album is already on many hip hop heads Best Of 2012 album lists this year. The NY producer & emcee just released a brand new visual for “Deeper” off of the album & I hope he keeps the visuals coming. I’m still blasting the ’76’ track off the album which I’m sure could use a pretty dope video. One of the key things that makes Roc Marciano special is his slick street gangsta pimp-like wordplay & lyricism. Hopefully he’ll have more slick pimped out videos to keep breathing new life into the project.

Atlanta R&B singer, producer, & songwriter The-Dream drops one of the first visuals from the commercial release of the 1977 project due next Tuesday December 18th. I don’t think it’s totally a bad idea to re-release mixtape projects for commercial release. Chances are it’s going to be new music to most people who don’t keep up with mixtapes amidst the flood of free music on the internet. It’s a win in my opinion although some of Mr. Terius Nash’s hardcore fans maybe thinking ‘Wake Me When The NEW Material’ comes.

Black Milk – Demo Beats 2012

Detroit producer & emcee Black Milk took to his soundcloud page to release some of the beats he’s cooked up for 2012 for his fans’ audio consumption. It’s about time we heard something from Black Milk who seemed to be rather quiet for most of the year. I’m still hoping he drops an official song & video for that ‘Don Cornelius’ joint he teased us with a while back. After listening sitting here listening to these instrumental demo joints, the track that catches my attention the most occurs around the 2:50 mark. That’s that gritty Detroit hip hop most of us fiend for. Black Milk has to stop disappearing like this. I’d like to see Black Milk put out more videos from past albums while in between projects to hold fans over until the new stuff is done. Until he does I guess these demo instrumentals should suffice for how.

Sports: Cleared of Rape Charges, Former High School Football Star Still Pursuing NFL Dream (Video)

NFL Hall of Famer and Legendary Green Bay Packers Coach Vince Lombardi said it best: “It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.” Brian Banks must have heard those words before; because he is living them now.
The former high school football star was exonerated of a rape charge that, after 10 years, would be the end of one’s professional aspirations. Not, Banks’ though. He’s still pursuing his dream to play professional football! Now 27 years old, the linebacker finally signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League (UFL) after unsuccessful tryouts with the Seattle Seahawks (see video above), San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, and Kansas City Chiefs.
Banks should have been a Green Bay Packer. Still could be… Just saying. Considering that the only thing that has stopped him from playing pro ball is that the UFL folded due to financial challenges, you can bet that Banks will get up again (just as Lombardi coached); and if it is at all possible… Banks will get into the National Football League. He declares:
“I really do like my chances…The dream is still in pursuit.”
