It happens. Every now and then, you get to thinking about a man or woman who played some memorable role in a movie or TV series… Often you know or find out that they are still around; maybe they moved on to the next thing (like Patrick Stewart, doing Captain Picard going from Star Trek: The Next Generation to the Professor X of the X-Men franchise) or they are still riding the hell out of their lane (Hugh Jackman does other stuff, but he IS Wolverine). But what about those one-and-done actors. Some have left this mortal life (RIP Michael Clarke Duncan from The Green Mile), but others just quit. Why?

You see the title, and I know you thought what I thought… Konshens better not be trying to ‘slick bite’ off Beenie Man and Mya’s “Girl Dem Sugar” or else. But hold up, you get into the music (which is good) and the video (yup, that good-good), and realize that it kinda is. However, I took this as Konshens’ channeling of the essence of that Beenie–Mya. Massive cool dancehall is the result. Nice!

So Lifetime is gonna do The King Of Pop’s biopic. Interesting. Wonder if it will be more something for the fans, or really go into the never-talk-about parts of the ruler of Neverland.
Based on the best-selling book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson In His Final Days, and told through the eyes of Jackson’s trusted bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. The movie will reveal firsthand the devotion Michael Jackson had to his children, and the hidden drama that took place during the last two years of his life.

Interesting. Remy gave higher than expected rank to enemy-as-of-late Nicki Minaj. Seems like true ratings can come through when you cannot match the lyrics to Hip-Hop’s Who’s Who. Bars matter, not an emcee’s so-called ‘status’ in the game.
