Cover Story: Inside the FBI’s Giant Bomb Warehouse (Video)
Employing forensics akin to what you’d see on CSI or NCIS, and taking what’s learned into the field (like on ’24’). the FBI is growing what will likely be America’s greatest asset in defending the U.S. against terror… information. Gathering artifacts and evidence from and related to bombs used against soldiers and civilians, compiling and crunching data on explosions that happened and that were prevented, identifying what makes bombs and bombers tick, predicting what or who spells trouble with regard to bomb attacks against the U.S. – all that and more has been going on for 10 years in TEDAC. Great article. Businessweek is the bomb y’all (alright, alright…stop groaning).

JFK: The Private President (Trailer)
Most consider the Kennedys to be the closest thing to American royalty we have had in the States. Likely why so much mystique surrounds them; and why we are compelled to watch when someone brings a story about them to the small or big screen. Most are very worthy of the attention, especially the ones about John F. (JFK); and it looks like “JFK: The Private President” will not drop the ball either. Saw this covered in Rolling Out magazine.
Phene – “Set Me Free”
What if Jordan chose right field?
Or Magic stayed faithful?
Be your own Label ain’t no telling where it take you…
– Phene

Mutual admiration expressed right from the start of the interview. Ali Shaheed Muhammad (of A Tribe Called Quest) talking with Golden Era producer extraordinaire Pete Rock.
“I was musically charged, man. I had some adrenaline going on then. I’m serious, ever since I — I think after I met James Brown as a kid. I was seven years old. I wasn’t the same since.”
– Pete Rock
Ali Shaheed and Frannie Kelley host NPR’s Microphone Check. They talk with PR about his meeting James Brown the great and later attending his funeral, his other influences and upcoming in Hip-Hop, 9/11, J Dilla and so much more. Raekwon with another blessing over another classic R&B track for his throwback series. This verse is over The Isley Brothers’ “Footsteps In The Dark.”
Technology: Arm-Controlled Flying Drone (Video)
Oh yeah! Another superpower (telekinesis or at least make someone a gadget master). Sci-fiction now science fact. Future tech is here now. Next generation piloting via Bluetooth 4.0 from Thalmic Labs. The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 in the demo above precisely follows each movement of the pilot’s arm or wrist (wearing the arm band)!
Cool. Very cool.
Kuniva – “Michiganish” feat. Jon Connor x Boldy James x Guilty Simpson

NatGeo Delves Deeply Into Tupac’s Murder Investigation As Part Of It’s ‘Last Great Decade’ Series (Video)
If you were around then, you feel our anguish now. Twenty years later… and the investigation into the murder of one of Hip-Hop’s most revered… has gotten NOWHERE?? Well, at least the death of Tupac Shakur stays on the front burner for a while longer; part of National Geographic’s three-night documentary mini-series “The ’90s: The Last Great Decade?” Talk show host and actor Arsenio Hall, music video director Gobi Rahimi and rapper MC E.D.I. Mean (of the Outlawz) all in there speaking truth that hurts regarding the lack of progress in the case and the hunt for the people responsible for Tupac’s death. Too high a profile for ‘Pac (or B.I.G.) for us to have zilch after all this time.
“I believe…that if Justin Bieber had gotten shot in Tupac’s car…we’d know more.”
– Arsenio Hall
The NatGeo series starts on July 6, 2014. Watch. Discuss.
