R&B/Soul: Eric Lau – “Where To Go Now” feat. Tawiah
I’ve become a fan of DJ & producer Eric Lau’s work over the past several years after initially discovering his music. Whenever he drops something new I know without fail I can ALWAYS expect quality work. This new joint featuring the talented UK based soul singer Tawiah called “Where To Go Now” is the second single from his upcoming project “One Of Many” due June 17th. His equally as hot first single “Everytime” we had posted just a few weeks back in case you missed it. London-based singer Tawiah has been releasing some great music on her own that we’ve posted previously so discovering this new collaboration with Eric Lau was a no-brainer that the end result would be nothing short of special. I’m sure this is just “One Of Many” of the great musical pieces Tawiah & Eric Lau have coming our way. For now go ahead get cop the FREE download of the new single below.

Kendrick Lamar – “B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe” (Director’s Cut Video)
Brand new video from the Compton kid Kendrick Lamar for one of my personal favorite songs off of his critically acclaimed “good kid, m.A.A.d city” album. This special director’s cut edition of “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” shot by The Lil Homies & OG Mike Mihail finds comedian Mike Epps making an appearance although the visuals are not entirely submerged within a comedic space artistically. The clip is beautifully cinematic from a visual perspective & does contain a few messages to decipher unless you don’t pay attention or just so happen to blink too soon.
Kendrick Lamar Becomes A High School Principal For A Day (Video)
Kendrick Lamar stops by Mount Pleasant High School to serve as their celebrity principal-for-the-day, as part of the ‘Get Schooled’ program, after students there won The Fall Attendance Challenge!
‘Without education you don’t have anything. My teachers were great positive influences in my life. My middle school English teacher was probably the reason I became a rapper. He used to encourage me to write poetry and would challenge me, which helped me improve my vocabulary and made me enjoy writing.’ – Kendrick Lamar
Evidence – “Self Taught” (Instrumental)
Evidence (of Dilated Peoples) leaks “Self Taught” off the upcoming release, “Green Tape Instrumentals” (due out June 25, 2013).
Demigodz – “Raiders Cap” (Video)
As an avid Oakland Raiders fan y’all should already know I’m digging this brand new video from the Demigodz right here! Their new single “Raiders Cap” off of their very dope new album “Killmatic” that’s out now should be a no brainer for the reasons why I like it. Dope beat produced by Apathy, dope rhymes, & my favorite NFL team. Peep the brand new video as they take it to Cali & also feature West Coast emcee Xzibit who makes a surprise cameo in the clip as well! #RAIDERNATION!!

Methuzulah – “Ghana Grey” feat. Bobby Seale
Methuzulah raps over a track originally produced by Apollo Brown… because he was feeling it. And he invites Bobby Seale to get a bit of this “Ghana Grey.” This is one of a 13-track jack of assorted favorite Apollo Brown instrumentals Methuzulah chose to bless for his FREE promo project.

R&B: Mariah Carey – “Beautiful” feat. Miguel (Video)
Man! I better not hear Miguel ever complain about his job. Taking the luscious Mariah Carey for a spin on his bike; after having recorded a hit with her… all in a day’s work. Wow. Their video is obviously “Beautiful” and so is the song (out now on iTunes; album coming this summer). Check out visuals above, and cop the audio below.
The Day ‘J.Cole’ Retired His Mom From Her Post Office Job (Video)
I know his camp’s build up for the coming J. Cole project “Born Sinner” (due out June 25, 2013) is meant to be about Cole (Cole World, right?)… but this is deep stuff featuring his mom. Happy Mother’s Day
‘Part 1 of J. Cole’s Bornsinner.com series; a conceptual digital platform created by the Dreamville collective. The first installment documents the day J. Cole retired his mother Kay Cole from her job at the United States Postal Service.’
– JColeMusic
Definitely different from the bought-my-momma-a-house brag rap. Note the line from “Cole Summer” (song we posted here earlier) at the end. It’s real.

Pusha T – “Numbers On The Boards” (Video)
Pusha T’s latest single “Numbers On The Boards” produced by Kanye West & Don Cannon is one of my favorite hip hop joints to have been released as of late. Been bangin it out on my radio show religiously since we posted it up on this site about a month ago. While out in Paris France with Kanye West they shot a brand new video for the single that’s expected to appear on V.A. lyricist’s upcoming solo album entitled “My Name Is My Name” due July 16th. These are the types of heaters I thoroughly enjoy to hear from Pusha T. It’s that dopeness that makes you screw your face up something nasty! Warning: May cause CRAZY reactions.
