Emcee Alias (of OVM) and DJ/Producer Fakts One (best known as one-third of The Perceptionists, with Mr. Lif and Akrobatik) team up for “Second Chances” (due out August 7, 2012) – a digital album that apologizes 1) for the wackness some have called “Hip=Hop” over the past few years AND 2) because they “shouldn’t have left you…without a dope beat to step to” (Eric B. and Rakim…RESPECT)! Both artists took a hiatus from the industry – in large part to focus on Fatherhood, which more than trumped the prospect of “staying in the game to fight the good fight” at the time. Black Dynamite: ‘Jackson 5 Across Your Eyes’ Episode One (Video)

This is part one of the first season of the Black Dynamite animated comedy on Adult Swim based on 2009’s critically-acclaimed feature film, Black Dynamite. “This new 30-minute animated series further chronicles the exploits of the central character, “Black Dynamite”, and his crew. Under the direction of Carl Jones (The Boondocks), the series features the voice talent of Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley and Byron Minns, all of whom starred in the feature film.
