Yep. Boris tells his friends, on the water, on deck, on camera, that he is taking his talents to… well into retirement. Feels right, especially on a nice day on a nice boat. Ballinnnn!

The cat’s out of the bag. The jig is up. The… aw… whatever cliche you wanna use, it appears that the League is on board with actually dealing with the trend of teams tanking seasons it knows has gone unchecked for quite a while. Taking away some incentive for wack teams’ losing, losing badly, and losing often to get favorable picks for next’s season’s rebuild. It’s a start Commish.

Pro Baller Candace Parker Is ‘Cool’ On Kevin, But He Got In His Shots Anyway (Video)

Okay, just so you know… hooper cutie Candace Parker has always been the finest wine to yours truly. When the world is going Serena Williams, I am [not so] low-key saying, “Yeaaahh, leave Candace aaaaall to meee.”

And her husband… rats.

Well, here she is in an ice bath. So nippy chilly, and still chilling with hype-for-no-reason Kevin Hart. Hahaaa!

Ray Allen Knows His Move From Boston To Miami Was Hard On The Fans. But Management & Teammates, They Should Understand… It Was Business (Video)

Plain talk from former Celtics standout Ray Allen. Here he is in Shanghai, telling his side of the story. In essence, he is letting viewers & fans know that it wasn’t him wanting to leave Boston, it was the Celtics… not doing what it took to keep him there. No beef with nobody on his side, even though some folks apparently reeeeally had HEAT for him for taking his talents to South Beach.

Ray Allen spoke in an exclusive interview with Tencent’s Lisa Hsu about the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Paul Pierce and being a champion. Tencent, ESPN’s partner in China, is hosting its annual Super Penguin Basketball Celebrity Game in Shanghai.
– ESPN

Makes some good points in this interview. Pro sports is BUSINESS, not personal. And there is NO loyalty. The Celts could have dropped Allen, and that would be that; not a tear shed.

Jeremiah Camara Says ‘Blacks Screwed Up’ In Handling The Controversy Surrounding Former NBA Owner Donald Sterling (Video)

“As usual, Blacks were left with nothing but a moral victory…Donald Sterling was never the problem in the first place.”

After banning Donald Sterling from the NBA for life, there was much celebrating, specifically amongst African Americans, but in reality what was actually accomplished? As usual, Blacks were left with nothing but a moral “victory.” Black leadership, in an outside of the NBA blew perhaps the greatest opportunity to advance the conditions of African Americans since the so-called Civil Rights Movement.

New Jersey Nets New Logo

This smacks of wackness. Folks in Jersey get pandered to for one more season while the team packs their bags for their new digs in Brooklyn. This is basically a waste of a season for this franchise. They’ll begin in the 2012-13 season being a franchise again as far as I’m concerned.
