LeBron James & Lonzo Ball Speak Their Minds On Magic Johnson’s Departure From The Lakers Organization (Video)

Enjoy catching ‘The Shop: Uninterrupted’ on HBO when time allows. Good chit-chat based on the barbershop paradigm. Nothing off limits. Of course, LeBron and Lonzo are certainly too smart to risk multi-million dollar paychecks with controversial public reactions, but they are pretty candid in the clip above where they discuss how they found out about Magic Johnson leaving the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lebron came to the Lakers after talking with Magic. Think he might find a way to walk away now that Magic is? Well, hit the jump.

Watch The Full ‘In Living Color’ 25 Year Reunion Live Stream (Video)

Score for Comedy Hype! Would have been great to be there with the comedic greats. There was NOTHING that could touch these folks’ show when they were really on. Even if they called it a ‘Black SNL.’

Keenen Ivory Wayans, Kim Wayans, Shawn Wayans, David Alan Grier, and Tommy Davidson sit down to discuss “In Living Color’s” legacy at 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.

Enjoyed “Hollywood Shuffle” back in the day. Now I gotta go find a copy of that “Partners In Crime” followup to watch.

Animal style! Never heard of that, so I would be an In-And-Out-of-towner dude. But that Chik-Fil-A secret shake… I should know that one. I am ALL about the Chik-Fil-A menu. Gotta ask and see about that.

The SquADD debates animal fries, quesaritos, blueberry cheesecake milkshakes and more as they discuss their all-time favorite secret menu items. Which menu item is the best?

The Continuing Rise In Brazilian Butt Lifts & The Pressure To Be Curvy (Video)

Hmm. Did not know that Oprah brought this trend to light way back when it started. SUre wish the ladies did not feel like they need to risk their health and lives to get those bumps and humps we like. Please find those who love you just as you are ladies and rock with them. We cannot appreciate anything about that ‘new’ body if you are gone. Don’t give in to the pressure.

That said, I know it cannot be easy to live in a world where there is such social pressure to do what others (stars especially) already do to be more appealing. Watch this discussion on it whether you are thinking of doing something to your body or not, or know someone who might. Understanding is key.

In today’s social media society, Black women are faced with the pressure to be curvy. With the rise of the Kardashian Klan and the affordability of a Brazilian butt lift, the panel comes together to discuss the recent surge in plastic surgery amongst Black women. Can you go under the knife and still love yourself?

Did you catch Beast Mode on Bill Maher’s show last weekend? We know he does not speak much, esp. not to the press. But he made some memorable TV that night. Watch his segment. Speaking from the heart about President Trump, marijuana, and more.

And we can all learn. Growers vs. showers. And like, WTF a ‘macrophallus’ is.

Bonus: Got that conversation with Sexpert Glamazon Tyomi they mentioned in the clip after the jump.

Speaking On Female Emcees’ Beef And Struggle In 2018: Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B And Why There Is Only Room For One Female Emcee (Video)

Interesting. This panel discussion uses the Nicki v. Cardi beef as a jump-off point for discussing strife between women and the struggle for women to gain footing in the still male-dominated rap game.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have made the news cycle this year over their rap beef. With an industry saturated with men, why are there so few successful women in Hip Hop who seem to get along? The panelists come together to discuss the climate of today’s Hip Hop industry for women vs men.

Listen To Black Women Speak On Why They Choose ‘Bad Boys’ Over ‘Good Guys’ (Video)

Okay, y’all. Lean in. Beautiful sistas are about to tell you why good guys finish last. Or at least that’s what is promised. We’ll see.

In this episode, we’re asking the question: why aren’t we picking the “good guy” first?
– MadameNoire

And yeah, I watched all the way through. If I want to attract a good sista, I need to make every effort to learn what they want in a man. Right? Right!

More than three years after Sandra Bland’s death sparked national outrage, her sisters Shante Needham and Sharon Cooper share how they’re still seeking details surrounding her passing. Their new doc ‘Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland’ premieres Dec. 3 on HBO.

April Ryan To President Trump: “I’m Not A Loser” (Video)

Another “enemy” of the people Trump’s with a rebuttal. Get him sista. GET HIM! Yeezus! When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. Unless you’re Trump – who, as Gloria Berger aptly declares that he is “just defining the Presidency downward… every single day.” Damn. Just. Damn.

CNN political analyst April Ryan responds to President Donald Trump’s comment in which he called her a “loser” who “doesn’t know what the she is doing.”

Jim Acosta Speaks On His Confrontation With President Trump (Video)

Remember when the question kept coming up during Campaign 2016, “Does Donald Trump have the TEMPERAMENT to be President of the United States?” That part.

Answer… NO, he does not.

Even if he thinks reporters are asking unfair or disrespect questions, this is NOT how the leader of the free world should respond. Point. Blank. Period. That said, the reporters, Jim Acosta included, were just doing their jobs. Not as the ‘enemy’ but they are allies; necessary in keeping us informed about what The President and other officials are doing in our name. But don’t you worry about The President attacking members of the press. They can take care of themselves, especially on CNN.

Politics: Dave Chappelle Speaks On Kanye West And President Trump (Video)

I’m not mad at Kanye. That’s my brother. I love him… I don’t have to agree with everything he says…
Dave Chappelle

The REALEST talk while still keeping some of the funny in there. We’ve come to expect that from Dave Chappelle. Gotta imagine he has some empathy for an artist who the world has called ‘crazy’ (since he has been there himself).

Comedian Dave Chappelle and Maryland democratic gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous discuss the political divide in the US since President Trump was elected president with CNN’s Van Jones.

Jim Carrey Kicks Some ‘Real Time’ Wisdom While Proudly Sporting New Nike Kicks (Video)

I keep hearing this… “Canadians are so nice. Canadians are so nice.”
They can be nice, because they have healthcare!
Jim Carrey

Mic dropped!

Tell you what: Jim Carrey just did it big for Nike. Fancy a bit of bold activism with your current fashion? Carrey’s your model then. Plopped right down on the set of “Real Time with Bill Maher” and showed the business world how Nike gets what amounts to a bold shoe commerical on ad-free HBO!

Actor and comedian Jim Carrey joins Bill and his guests – David Axelrod, Michelle Goldberg, and former Rep. Charlie Dent – on the Real Time panel.
– Real Time with Bill Maher

Shoe game dope. And par for the course when you get Jim Carrey on nowadays, you get wisdom mixed in with the whimsical. Great segment!

Do White People See Black Skin As A ‘Weapon’ To Be Feared? Host Erica Cobb Says ‘Yes’ (Video)

So… ‘weaponized skin tone.’ That is where we are. And Erica is right. You KNOW she is right. It’s just too bad that many who watch this are just going to see a ‘triggered’ Black woman and not even try to understand why.

While talking about the CVS employee “Coupon Carl,” Host Erica Cobb says Black skin is viewed as a weapon by many. She and Beau Davidson debate the role skin color plays in tense situations.
– Daily Blast LIVE

If you only watch this once, I understand. It can get monotonous; us treading the same race-related grounds with those who just don’t get it. But I watched this several times before I got the gumption to go see why Erica would opt out of potentially ‘heightened’ situations because it would be ‘better if her husband handled them.’

Hit the jump, and give yourself a pat on the back if you already knew what I found out when I Googled.

Damned shame it has to come to this. Like a Dave Chappelle punchline… She must know that, when sh!t goes down, “somebody’s gonna have to talk to the cops.”

The Strong Black Women Of Marvel’s Luke Cage (Video)

Mm mm mm! Lucky Luke Cage. That’s what they ought to call him in the series. Because in the show’s corner of the Marvel Universe, the women are CHOICE. Like Taster’s Choice. Like strong, sweet, Black coffee…

Yes, Black women are strong, but we also need space to be vulnerable.
Women who lead and love Marvel’s Luke Cage discuss turning their pain into power.
– Strong Black Lead

Oh, go binge Seasons 1 & 2 of Marvel’s Luke Cage (on Netflix) if you just missed that whole ‘coffee’ reference. In short, it’s code wording between Luke and the women he is going to ‘blend’ (ha)!
