Robert Glasper Experiment EPK (Video)

Robert Glasper is set to release his “Black Radio” album that I’m very much looking forward to this February 28th. The album will be an infusion of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, & a variety of other ingredients that should musically define what “Black Radio” should be. A few of the songs that leaked early featuring Erykah Badu, Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele, & R&B trio King let’s me know that this is shaping up to be a very good project. This EPK of Robert Glasper was shot by our homie Cognito who now resides in Los Angeles….

In part two of his recent interview with Jack Thriller, Prodigy elaborates more on the role the police task force used to investigate various individuals in the hip hop music industry & how they affected his case which ultimately caused him to go to jail. Prodigy also goes on to say the illuminati is a myth because it can’t be proven.

KRS-ONE Says His Career Ended with Record Labels in ’92, But He Grew Through Independence (Video)

This is very informative interview with KRS-ONE recorded by the team over at DJPremierBlog. The Blastmaster KRS-ONE explains in detail about how he viewed his career was over in 1992 following his business separation with Jive records. KRS-ONE explained that through independence and gathering other like minded indy artists like the Fugees, Fat Joe, Mad Lion, Gangstarr, & others they were all able to eventually thrive. After completing a classic album featuring DJ Premier called “Return Of The Boom Bap” back in 1993, KRS-ONE is coming full circle with “Return Of The Boom Bip” with Primo that’s due to be released sometime this year…

Metropolis II (Mini-Documentary)

Check this cool mini-documentary about a kinetic sculpture that took four years to build at famed visual artist Chris Burden’s studio. The sculpture has been making some headlines today as it was recently moved to the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art (LACMA) where it was just installed.

Planet Asia – “Golden State” Black Belt Theatre Album Sneak Peak

Here is the first leak from one of my favorite emcee’s, Fresno California native Planet Asia, new album “Black Belt Theatre”. “Black Belt Theatre” will be a concept album themed around 70’s Blaxplotation and Kung Fu Flicks. Featured guests on the album include veterans like Raekwon, Talib Kweli, Paul Wall, Ras Kass, Camp Lo, and Strong Arm Steady, as well as newer emcee’s like Fashawn, Willie The Kid, Torae, and Nio Tha Gift. In this video MC Shan says he has beef “issues” with Marley Marl for many reasons & the most eye opening accusation according to MC Shan is that Marley Marl was taking credit for many beats he didn’t produce.

I know many brothas & sistas that just happen to be great conscious people here in Atlanta & this video is definitely no diss to them, but there are some people who are faker than a 3 dollar bill that this video is most definitely for. I know some of these fakers who preach healthy living yet are at home eating pork & want to tell other people about they are living foul. I remember I used to date a Cuban female at one time who had a fairer skin tone & one of these fake conscious cats tried to clown me about who I was dating. I was like N*kka sit the f*&k down! N*kka F*%k You! Although I have a particular preference I like in women, I don’t discriminate on interracial relationships because I like beautiful women period so miss with me that other sh*t. Hahaaa! This video is hilarious, but to those who are truly REAL & active in the community don’t take offense to this video. To the fakers….only a hit dog will holla….

Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody (Video)

While George Lucas, the creater of Star Wars, is out promoting the upcoming movie Red Tails, the porn industry is doing a big budget (by porn standards) of their own for their parody of the blockbuster Star Wars film. Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody is due to be released this month. I always found it to be hilarious when porn companies remake popular films as a porn flick & give it a “porno title.” Unlike Hollywood’s lack of interest in funding Lucas’s lastest Red Tails film, I’m sure the porn industry are already in the process of funding their own “Red Tails” parody with black actors as we speak. We interviewed porn star Lexingston Steele, who plays Darth Vader in this flick, not too long ago & I believe this was one of the films he told us about.
