How European Countries Like Germany, Britain, and France Plundered & Traded African Lands (Video)

Screenshot 2016-08-01 05.17.21

Like taking candy from children… more like taking land, resource wealth, and freedom to move about and claim their homeland statuses… That was the European countries’ mad, blood-drunk ‘Scramble For Africa.’ Here is a documentary short that explains how African countries were conquered, plundered and even reshaped by France and the UK.

(Onward Christian soldiers, huh? Must’ve been reading from another ‘good book.’ And they disregarded the indigenous peoples as savages.)

Hit the jump, and prepare to get mad.

Wonder Woman (Comic-Con Trailer)

The official Comic-Con trailer for “Wonder Woman”, starring Gal Gadot, got dropped on nerds’ heads recently. Kinda reserved about it so far. “Batman vs. Superman” left some room for turning up for DC. But will “Suicide Squad” leave viewers like ‘WOW, great spinoff!’ or ‘Mehhh… rather see the Justice League flick’? Time will tell, but the trailer checks all the boxes for a comic book action hero war period piece that “Captain America: The First Avenger” did. So, can’t hate on DC for not trying hard.

Black Channel Films: “Gentrified – Police, Money & Ethnic Cleansing” (Documentary Trailer)

The Black Channel Films is working on a documentary that goes in depth about the true underlying effects of Gentrification. So much is happening within the Black community today it’s hard to keep track of all the issues.  Police officers have come into our communities and murdered black men and women with no repercussions.  How can this happen?  We don’t see these murders happening in the Asian community.  It’s not apparent in the Arab or Latino community but prevalent with Black people.  You cant point at just one location either.  Think about this St. Louis, New York, Cincinnati, Charleston, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Oakland are just some of the cities where black men and women were murdered.  So it’s not just the East Coast, West Coast, Midwest or the South it is all over.  One consistent thing is in none of these major cities there are no true black owned communities.  We also know that a number of Blacks are being funneled out of certain areas in these cities.  The term Gentrified is commonly used and most think it is just simply moving out of a neighborhood.  It goes much deeper than that and this film will connect the dots on all the different players involved in Gentrification.  Be on the lookout for when this film comes out and we will keep you updated on Jayforce.com.

Explaining how police are allowed to intimidate and even kill to remove Blacks from cities, this clip from the upcoming documentary “Gentrified” features NYC City Council Candidate Thomas Lopez-Pierre with narration by Jason Black

DemocracyNow Presents: Michael Eric Dyson vs. Eddie Glaude, Race, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama’s Presidency And More (Video)

Great interview (slash moderated debate-type discussion) featuring Eddie Glaude and Michael Eric Dyson by DemocracyNow. Strap in for some informative, intellectual exploration of approaches to the Democratic platform, President Obama’s actions and legacy, Former Secretary and Presidential candidate Clinton’s past and anticipated actions should she ascend to U.S. Commander-In-Chief, and SO MUCH MORE!

On Wednesday night, President Obama addressed the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and implored the nation to vote for Hillary Clinton. As Obama seeks to pass the torch to his Secretary Of State, we host a debate on Hillary Clinton, her rival Donald Trump and President Obama’s legacy between Princeton University professor Eddie Glaude and Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson. Glaude’s most recent book is “Democracy in Black: How Race Still Enslaves the American Soul,” and he recently wrote an article for Time magazine headlined “My Democratic Problem with Voting for Hillary Clinton.” Dyson is the author of “The Black Presidency: Barack Obama and the Politics of Race in America” and wrote a cover article for the New Republic titled, “Yes She Can: Why Hillary Clinton Will Do More for Black People Than Obama.”

Of the two, I agree with Eddie Glaude. Just getting that out there.

V. Bozeman – “Dear Officer” feat. Young Life (Prod. By Rodney Jones) [Video]

Cue the news report. Clip in the Malcolm X audio. Start the civil rights struggle image montage. Song comes in… It’d be a stirring multimedia presentation even it weren’t so timely. Unfortunately, V. Bozeman and Young Life going in on this “Dear Officer” (produced by Rodney Jones) draws on recent events and #BlackLivesMatter energy. The depth to the song and soulful delivery should still be appreciated, even if circumstances that gave rise to it are not.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (Comic-Con Trailer)

Attendees of this year’s Comic-Con got a first look at the trailer for “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” (in theaters 2017). Charlie Hunnam stars as Arthur; a less noble, more grimy version. Looks like the timeframe of the film’s setting is a bit more modern than other tellings of the story, too, but you still get the armor clanging, sword in stone, knight fighting and all of that.

Watch Sean MacCormac SkySurfing Through An Active Thunderstorm (Video)

Jumping out of a perfectly working airplane would get a ‘HELL NAW’ from most people. How about jumping out of one during a thunderstorm? We don’t have the words. This maniac Sean MacCormac does though. And there’s video. Check it out.

Jump zones shut down during a thunderstorm because it would be insane for people to jump out of an airplane into one…yet Sean MacCormac is poised to leap from 2 miles above Southwest Florida with laser beams of lightning randomly igniting the sky and no way to tell which direction is safe. He charges out, feet strapped to his board to surf into a hostile thundercloud at speeds up to 130 mph.

The notorious hacktivist collective Anonymous has targeted everyone from PayPal to the FBI. But a string of arrests have crippled the group. So who is Anonymous now?

Hint: The story isn’t all as “Mr. Robot” (you know, the USA Network series) as you might think. At least not at first.

How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse (Video)

Think AMC’s The Walking Dead is a joke, man?! It’s actually fiction; not a whole lot of funny. Many might say prospect of a zombie apocalypse is scary. And some of them would say… the threat of it is REAL… at least real enough to go to a training camp to learn the basic survival skills of living with all kinds of undead walking around.

NASA Puts Its Money Where It’s Satellite Is: Burning Up A Billion-Dollar Probe To Protect Alien Life (Video)

Once again, Star Trek gives science the blueprint. Remember the Prime Directive (prohibiting Starfleet personnel from interfering with the internal development of alien civilizations? Well, NASA is following that in purest form and intention!

NASA’s Juno probe successfully began orbiting Jupiter on July 4. The spacecraft has 37 orbits to go before it burns up on purpose — to protect potential aliens.

Holy self-destruct, NASA! We don’t even want to risk exposing any potential alien life to our Earth germs. And before you grumble about that being billion-dollar overkill, Google how ill the Native Americans got shortly after being ‘exposed’ to European explorers ALIENS waaaaay before Star Trek.
