Eye Candy: UFC Champ Ronda Rousey (Video)
She’s fit. Very. Looking good, tight and ready to fight. Yeah, that’s Ronda Rousey. But let’s not just bypass that ‘looking good’ part. Rrrrousey, looking good for the Self magazine shoot. Check out the teaser above.
Ever think we’d feature back-flips at the noon hour? Hadn’t really had cause to think of it… until Ronda Rousey became mainstream. Turning the dial on the female freestyle fight game to hot, here’s Ronda in a quick chit chat look-at-that vid. Short and sexy. Not Ronda (she’s 5’7″).

Brenk Sinatra – “Midnite Ride” (Part 3) [Video]
We rock with Brenk Sinatra on here. Just don’t get to do it as often. But here’s a nice shiny gem. Visuals for the producer’s beat tape download – “Midnite Ride” (available now) – embedded above. Kinda dark, like midnight… like CSI at midnight.
Paris – “Night Of The Long Knives” (Video)
Fans of Hip-Hop’s Golden Era will remember and likely raise a fist to this. Paris is one of the revolutionary rappers of that time that spoke the truth of police brutality and fired listeners’ political passions. Past the rally, just short of riotous revolt; that’s where P-Dog lay on the spectrum. The NWA “F## The Police” and Public Enemy “Fight The Power” energy? Yeah… add a Molotov Cocktail and machine guns… that’s Paris on the hunt for abusive police and oppressive policymakers then AND now.
Of course, someone will gripe that Paris has not changed his tune for 25 years. Well, the conditions that fuel his style of rhyme have not changed. Those things he rhymes about exist in today’s Era, still; they were not left in the 1990s. Tell them that. Better, just have them watch the “Night Of The Long Knives” video above. Maybe have them click below and grab a copy of “Pistol Politics” as an extended text on the subject matter.
El RTNC – “Whipped Cream” (Instrumental Album)
Go-to producer for Your Old Droog, Homeboy Sandman and others has a project of instrumentals put together to display the skills going dolo. Beats front and center for you to groove to. Check out the “Whipped Cream” stream below.
Wiz Khalifa – “Just Because” (Prod. By Harry Fraud)
Dope loosey let loose by Wiz “Just Because.” You hear that aired-out (smoked-out?) beat by Harry Fraud. You hear Wiz riding that track like he was winning at the track. You know it’s FREE right? Bet you ‘heard’ that. So wtf are you waiting for maaaaan??
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Ultimate Fan Trailer)
This just got even crazier! So, the trailers (plural) to this point for the new “Star Wars” movie weren’t enough? Apparently not. Re-edited by Shawn Cauthen, above we have aaaalllll the footage let out on “The Force Awakens” so far merged into a mega trailer.
It’s done. So, gorge yourselves and get ready (even if you aren’t a fan; be ready for the fanatics)!
Daddy’s Home (Trailer)
Wanna have a fun for almost the entire family good time at the theater? Bet on Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg acting like some fools in “Daddy’s Home.” The trailer is teasing a bunch of laughs; Ferrell, playing a stepdad being foiled at most every turn by bad boy former-but-always-biological-dad played by Wahlberg. Got a trailer above, with a bonus trailer version after the jump.
Both dads love the kids… just kinda differently. In theaters December 25, 2015.

The “Master of None” series, looking at the trailer above, looks like it is going to be good…and good and funny!

Jakarta’s had its 10th birthday as a label. In the mix, its artists (and some associates) will be dropping 15 unreleased tracks as a FREE project due out mid-November. Carmelo Anthony Goes To Puerto Rico, To ‘Stay Melo’ In The Hood To Do Some Good And More (Video)
New Stay Melo ep on VICE Sports for y’all. Last one was about Cuba. This time it’s Puerto Rico.
Carmelo Anthony recognizes, like most looking outside in, that Puerto Rico is currently in economic decline. But to Melo it’s a place of family, opportunity and a growing sports culture. He goes to chill (Melo out, if you will) but also to do some goodwill and good work. Spent a few days training with a group of fellow Knicks, seeing the stadium that will house his Puerto Rico FC NASL team, riding out to La Perla (one of Puerto Rico’s most notorious hoods), hanging out with reggaeton legend Tempo (home after a 12 year prison bid) at one of the b-ball courts Melo has refurbished for the community and more stuff.
Sure, ballers are in the League…balling. But with all that wealth, if you aren’t doing something…you got nothing! Just saying. Now, watch and listen as Melo does something; and shares and wrestles with his vision for what he’d like to accomplish in PR.

Lovely Lupita Nyong’o Answers ’73 Questions’ (Video)
Wow… sometimes we need Eye Candy to touch our souls. You might think a rapid-fire interview of “73 questions” would either be not-so-engaging (at best) or annoying (more likely). But with classy lady Lupita … the answer is C – none of the above.
Lupita Nyong’o reveals a few of her (many) talents, from speaking Swahili and Spanish, to showing off her impressive hula hoop skills. The Oscar-winning actress also reflects on what it was like to move to Mexico at age 16 without her parents, how she learned to cry on demand, what life was like as a Hollywood production assistant, and what it took to bring her upcoming Star Wars character to life.
Isn’t she lovely? And just when you think the clip is all about inner beauty (which she definitely has)… BAM! She shows us she is wearing the very form-fitting yellow dress like WHOOOAAA! Watch and enjoy.

ESPN’s 30-For-30: Trojan War (Video)
Ah, college football fans. Let’s talk about the Pete Carroll – USC Era. He took over the program at the University Of Southern California after the 2000 season, and eventually restored the luster and swagger of the once-great Trojans with his football knowledge, upbeat personality and recruiting skills (and a couple of star graduates who’d come back to visit, if recollection serves).
Soon enough, Southern Cal was back! Topping the college football world in home field attendance; turning out win after win, multiple Heisman Trophy winners (e.g. Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush), marquee TV respect (ABC & Keith Jackson don’t just call any game)…
BUT…
There was sinning at the revival of USC. And the worst sin of all D-1 sins, THEY GOT CAUGHT! Lost scholarships, overturned victories, a returned Heisman award… oh my. All of the fall would come to light after the 2006 National Championship game. USC lost the Rose Bowl that year to The University of Texas. Then the proverbial bottom fell the f##k out!
The hurt ran deep and are really only numbing today. At least now we can really talk about it. Well, Coach Carroll, Heisman-winning quarterback Leinart and others can that is. Watch “Trojan War,” an ESPN 30-For-30 special, above.
Illa J Speaks On His Upcoming Self-Titled LP, The Downside To Being J Dilla’s Brother And More (Video)
Allow Detroit’s Illa J to reintroduce himself (in the radio interview above, and with his album linked below). He is very much and very proud to be the brother of the late great J Dilla. The challenges or having expectations on his shoulder; they’d come anyway. He pushes hard to earn. But being seen as just ‘some dude flowing over Dilla beats,’ or as some Slum Village hanger-on… nah, miss him with that.
