Denzel Washington Paid For Chadwick Boseman To Study At Oxford (Video)

Hey yo, King T’Challa, some dude named Denzel is outside and he says you know him… and owe him… for that tuition, sire. Haa!

Very awesome story. If paying it forward is in your nature, you end up blessing others in ways you cannot imagine. Denzel Washington has always blessed us with proper representation and performances that make us proud. Looks like he played a part in leveling up Chadwick Boseman to do that. It follows that the blessings will continue.

Chadwick Boseman reveals how he wound up studying acting at the University of Oxford thanks to Denzel Washington’s generosity and discusses the importance of the political conversations inspired by the Black Panther film.

Michael B. Jordan & Michael Shannon Star In “Fahrenheit 451” (Trailer)

Yep. That last line in this. Michael B. channeled some of that Killmonger energy.

Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and “firemen” burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his “mentor,” played by Shannon. Premieres Spring 2018.

“The Trayvon Martin Story” Documentary Series Coming To Paramount Network (Trailer)

They say that time heals all wounds. It does not.

Whoa. That’s a quote to frame, esp. for this case.

Paramount Network has teamed up with executive producer Shawn Carter for a landmark television event, “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” based on the life and legacy of Trayvon Martin. The six-part non-scripted documentary series will be the definitive look at one of the most talked-about and controversial events in the last decade that spurred the impactful worldwide “Black Lives Matter” movement. “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” premieres in July on Paramount Network.

Shooter Robert O’Neill Listened To Music From The Game Before The SEAL Team Six bin Laden Raid (Video)

Wow. Music from The Game as the ‘pre-game’ for a spec ops kill mission. Thinking that TMZ reporter might have overpromised on being able to set up that meet-up with Jayceon though.

The U.S. Navy SEAL who’s credited with firing the kill shots on Osama bin Laden says he listened to a banger the night of the raid, and we gotta say … it’s an excellent choice.

Hasan Piker Claps Back At Laura Ingram Telling Lebron James To ‘Shut Up And Dribble’ (Video)

Bwaaaahahaaa! Hasan Piker SMOKED Laura Ingram for her #ShutUpAndDribble dribble rant. Wonder if she has seen this… Might make her dribble, with her mouth wide open, leaking from the cheeks.

Laura Ingraham’s viral racist rant against LeBron James is the perfect example of how idiotic and hypocritical White Supremacy is.

Shout out to the fam Twice Born The God for sharing this epicness!

LeBron James’ On-Court Moves Still Mystify (Video)

Unbelievable… until you see it… then we are forced to believe in the impossible! Sorry… nearly impossible! And the commentary on the moment was epic:

It goes through Thompson’s legs. It goes through THOMPSON’S legs!!

Even seasoned vets were amazed at the move King James made.

Chadwick Boseman Surprises “Black Panther” Fans (Video)

That sly Jimmy Fallon. He’s done this before: Put unsuspecting admirers in a room and have them speak to the person they admire as if that person were there… then all of a sudden, the celebrity appears…

But this clip of that setup feels different. Chadwick Boseman is still probably getting his head around how important the part he plays is; as well as how it was portrayed. By now, though, his heart ought to ‘get it.’

Stone Cold Steve Austin Speaks On How He Got His Name, Where “Austin 3:16” Came From, Hunting And Gun Control (Video)

Ohhhhh, so that’s where the Austin 3:16 thing comes from!! And I knew about his podcast, but I need to see at least one ep of Stone Cold’s “Redneck Island” before I opine about its merits. Interesting interview with a very interesting guest. As always, Larry is the King of compelling interview content.

Steve Austin shows he’s not just Stone Cold but a good guy who enjoys the simple pleasures life has to offer. The WWE Hall of Famer reveals how he got to be the best in the biz & his choice opponent to bring him back in the ring.
Larry King

So, but Steve could not see himself losing to Brock Lesnar in the ring, though? Okay, okay… no more spoilers. Watch!

Nipsey Hussle Stays True To Himself, Even If It Means Being ‘Uncomfortable’ (Video)

You get the furthest being authentic…

And that’s that if you ask Nip Hussle. While he kinda went with the temp of the room (e.g. the rest of the guys declaring that your ‘approach’ should fit the circumstances), Nipsey did hold to the ‘no code-switching’ mode. Gotta believe that being Hussle made him a boss. Why would he change his persona for anyone, in any situation? Respect.

The rapper chats with the men of “BET’s Mancave” about being uncomfortable.

Big Daddy Kane Blesses NPR Music With A Mini Concert (Video)

Don’t know what’s wrong with your soul if this set from the Golden Era great doesn’t rock you. The B-I-G-D-A-D-D-Y-K-A-N-E in concert… a Tiny Desk Concert at that!

One of the greatest to ever bless the mic, Big Daddy Kane treated Tiny Desk to an office block party in the true essence of Hip-Hop. He performed a short set of classics, including “Smooth Operator,” “Ain’t No Half Steppin’,” “Raw” and a bonus freestyle. Through his warm, engaging and devilishly self-effacing style, the pioneer used an interlude between songs to address the intergenerational divisiveness defining rap today and the importance of fans of all ages supporting whatever they like, while “focusing on what’s positive and keeping that in the spotlight.”
