Gary Vaynerchuk & Jim Jones Come To The Table With Some Boss Talk (Video)

I know when you start this video and see Capo talking to Gary it will seem like there is a disconnect. But hang in there. Separately, we’d listen to either of these guys, right? Trust that the energy will change for the better, for the real, quickly!

(Of course, Gary does most of the talking… with a few folks, including Jones, jumping in with questions and comments.)

If you asked me whether I’m more scared for kids growing up in the projects or trust fund babes?

I’d say trust fund babies. Hands down.

Kids growing up with struggle know how to grind and deal with adversity.

But when you’ve had everything handed to you your whole life, you get soft … and it’s harder to deal with things like economic meltdowns or the problems that come with entrepreneurship.

Wish more people understood that the biggest privilege you could have is mental privilege … people with money don’t always have it made!!

Gary Vaynerchuk Speaks On Really Pursuing Happiness As An Entrepreneur (Video)

Word hard. Gary BELIEVES in that. But even more, Gary believes in SELF-AWARENESS. Know what makes you happy. Don’t work so hard that you sacrifice happiness… Plus some folks (like GaryVee) are the happiest when working like he does now.

So many have aspirations to build a successful business, but complain that they’re “tired after work” or “don’t want to work weekends.”
But I do think you should work to the point of burning out or sacrificing your happiness?
Of course not.

Gary Vaynerchuk Is Revealing His ‘Secret Wine Project’ And ‘Secrets’ To Creating Great Content And Winning (Video)

I have long admired how lights-camera-action Gary is. And that his content creation looks soooo much a part of his life; like he is not trying. Bet both pockets that he is trying HARD (and so is D-Rock, his media dude).

Some behind the scenes of my secret wine project – I’m very excited that I finally get to show you all the things I have been working on under wraps for a while now…

Hustle b!tch. That’s what it’s about and what I have to imagine Gary would tell you himself. But instead, he will show you how to grind and get money to grow your grind up. Too many of us try to get our ‘game up’… Nah son, grow your GRIND up first #JustSaying

Food: South L.A.’s African-American Taco Movement (Video)

Okay, you know Memphis for the barbecue and Philly for the cheesesteak… Basically, there are a lot of cities with food that reps. Check out a new food movement: South Los Angeles’ African American Tacos. Just a taste of Food Grails, a new First We Feast travel series.

Welcome to Food Grails, a new First We Feast travel series hosted by Miss Info. As a music journalist, she’s travelled the world and seen the power of artists who rep for their hometown sound. Now, she wants to discover how foods define a city’s flavor—from Atlanta’s lemon-pepper wings, to NYC’s beef patties. These are America’s food grails.
First We Feast

Learned some math: Profit from slanging tacos > profit from selling weed (wow, plus weed heads probably come through with ‘the munchies’ yo). Serious business here. Watch.

Nelson Mandela’s Old Johannesburg Hideout Gives South African Artists & Entrepreneurs A New Home (Video)

Nice! Shout to The Daily Beast for bringing this Johannesburg gem to light. A center for entrepreneurship and culture that was once at the heart of the anti-apartheid movement. In South Africa, if you want to realize a dream, this is the place – apparently to work it or witness the work come to fruition. Great look at the people and art of Johannesburg in this clip.

The hostel reputed to be Nelson Mandela’s apartheid-era hideout is now the center of a network of cultural entrepreneurs who have helped revive the South African city.
