Large Professor Talks About The Making Of Nas’ Classic “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” (Video)
Wow. It’s 24 years since “It Ain’t Hard To Tell†dropped. Large Professor did the beat with a ‘New York State Of Mind’ – a mind firmly focused on Queens.
We were heavy New York, so we weren’t thinking about the globe… We do what we do, and we put it down. And we’re just thankful that the world received it and loved it.
– Large Professor
That NY-minded track that the G.O.D.M.C. Nassir would lyrically bless would eventually bubble worldwide.
Watch above, as LargePro speaks on it.

Tommy Nova – “Dead President” (Prod. By Mo Digi)
Ah haaa! T. Nova must have heard Mo Digi dice up and refry that old Jigga track, and he jumped on it… hard… on a mission.
At a time when many are speaking out on the voice of our current administration, artist Tommy Nova goes a step further and put it on wax. Dissecting nearly every major flaw of the Commander In Chief’s first year in office, TN holds nothing back in a brutally honest message aimed directly at the Oval Office over a very familiar loop reprogrammed by beatsmith Mo Digi.
Touré And Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter Talk About Inspiration, Imagination, And Responsibility (Video)
Lookit. If you don’t think Black Thought is not an all-time great emcee (as in a G.O.A.T., if not the G.O.A.T.), then we don’t have much to talk about. You may not get anything from this post.
But you still ought to watch his sit down with Touré. And learn… some RESPECT! Hmphf… acting like Tariq didn’t set Funk Flex’s mic on fire just over a month ago (watch again here).

Chris Brown – “State Of The Union”
So… to say that C Breezy’s take on “The State Of The Union” is different than what we heard from President Trump a couple of nights ago is… an understatement. Appropriate, because this joint is ‘understated’ (but you will feel it).
PRhyme (DJ Premier x Royce Da 5’9) – “Era” feat. Dave East
So wait… there’s gonna be a “PRhyme 2” now? DOPE! Doper still, we get to check out the lead single off the project, “Era” (featuring Dave East).
Eye Candy: Desma (Video)
To the one who watches this [admittedly] too short Desma visual and says, “But she ain’t even DO sh!t,” we direct this question: WHAT DID YOU JUST WATCH? Did you see a heaving, heavy breathing, ready-for-some (or some more) sexy goddess? Because that is what we saw… every time we watched this clip… over and over and over…
Wrestlemania? Nah, The Big Event Is The “Andre The Giant” Documentary Coming To HBO (Trailer)
Man. This film looks like it gets real, real fast. Sports entertainment storylines usually tend toward larger-than-life facade… “Andre The Giant” has the larger than life part down pat. But this doc looks to take viewers beyond the facade. Got mixed feelings about that. But feeling compelled to watch nonetheless.
Andre the Giant was literally the biggest celebrity in the world. HBO Sports, WWE, and the Bill Simmons Media Group present Andre The Giant, a documentary examining the life and career of one of the most beloved figures in wrestling history. Andre The Giant premieres April 10 on HBO.

High School Is Serious To The Squad “On My Block” (Trailer)
How are we gonna survive high school?
It’s a funny question, sorta. You remember it was a big deal; and in some hoods it could be that dangerous. Dope theme music running through this trailer, somebody should’ve found a way to throw “On My Black” by Scarface in there. Plenty of episodes (10) for binging soon… maybe they will.
On My Block, co-created by Lauren Iungerich (creator of Awkward) and Eddie Gonzalez & Jeremy Haft, is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in the rough inner city. See it on Netflix March 16.

Science: Checking Out The Scene, On Mars, With Footage From The Curiosity Rover (Video)
‘White-balanced’ eh? Okay, so the video was touched up a bit. Still, imagine: There is an Earth vehicle roaming Mars… now… looking around… for topography and perhaps proof of life.
Curiosity Project Scientist Ashwin Vasavada gives a descriptive tour of the Mars rover’s view in Gale Crater. The white-balanced scene looks back over the journey so far. The view from “Vera Rubin Ridge” looks back over buttes, dunes and other features along the route.

25 Years Later, Ayanna Jackson Speaks On 2Pac And The Sexual Assault Case (Video)
Okay. That’s a nice-looking Honey though. Let’s just get that said already. But we know that Ayanna Jackson, the one who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993, has a story to tell that touches off emotionally-charged firestorms on all sides of Pac fandom & hate, assault & empowerment… all kinds of stuff.
In this VladTV exclusive clip, Vlad sat down with Ayanna Jackson, a woman who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993. As a result, 2Pac was convicted of first-degree sexual assault and sentenced to one-and-a-half to four-and-a-half years in prison.
Jackson noted that the interview with Vlad is the first time she went on-camera to discuss the events that took place, ultimately leading up to the incarceration of the rapper. Jackson laid out how old she was when she met the rapper–around 19-years-old, along with the location they connected.
This is Part 1 of Ayanna telling her story to Vlad. Much more after the jump.
