Dirty Grandpa (Trailer)

This “Dirty Grandpa” looks hilarious; sorta pervy… which is what takes us back to hilarious. Perfect way to take Zac Efron from lovey-dovey land down to the gutter for a bit. Perfect escort on the trip – Robert De Niro. Check out the trailer.

Right before his wedding, an uptight guy is tricked into driving his grandfather, a perverted former Army general, to Florida for spring break.

Supastition – “Black Bodies” (Prod. By Praise) [Video]

And did it get checked out? What do you think? We post only the dopest on here. Checked out and approved!

Supastition’s “Black Bodies” (produced by Praise) goes hard at America’s lack of political will and accountability, and its overall apathetic stance on unjustifiable African-American deaths at the hands of the authorities. On deck for lyrical discussion: police brutality; double standards regarding race, law enforcement and protection in the U.S.; and America’s history of decimating non-Whites.

Supastition wrote this track after reading an article on the [so-called] “moral authority of America,” when like the rest of us, he has witnessed heinous rights violations and violent deaths of unarmed Black Americans so recently. The song was brilliantly brought to video by award-winning director Will Feagins, Jr. (High Impact Multimedia) as a montage of moving stills and moving imagery to complement the straightforward lyrics and theme Supastition drives on the Praise track.

Dope work. Dope! You can get “Black Bodies” on the “Gold Standard” project from Supastition (out now).

Screenshot 2015-10-30 02.29.03

(Full episode embed, after the jump, is blocked from viewing in some areas. Click above to view segment clips at CBS.COM)

This episode of CBS’ 60 Minutes featured a piece on Darrelle Revis; why he is one of the most best cornerbacks in the NFL, his work ethic, how he lives and more. Interviewer Armen Keteyian guides viewers’ discovery of a monster shutdown defensive back on-field; but off-field, a humble New Jersey guy living above a restaurant (save those millions man) who enjoys art and plays drums in his spare time.

Great watch. Unless you’re one of the poor receivers that spends a Sunday on “Revis Island” I guess.

Paris Speaks On His History With Sway, Hip-Hop Then & Now And More (Video)

Make way for a Hip-Hop PANTHER… P-DogParis… arguably one of the most revered & feared (depending on what side of his commentary you fall). Above, a dude he has been down with since way back, Sway, is giving Paris the platform to speak his truth. And he will. Sway and Paris talk about the music and grind back in the day, views on government (USA), on the evolution of Hip-Hop and more.

Did you know Paris holds multiple college degrees? Did you know he did a bid in the ‘corporate’ world for a while? Did you know Paris’ “Pistol Politics” album is out now? At least one of those answers should be ‘yes’ off jump (link to album in earlier post below). Raise your score to 3 out of 3, and learn lots of bonus stuff, by watching the insight-filled interview above.

Hip-Hop… played a large part in raising my awareness… Contrary to what’s going on right now, the exception to the rule was foolishness, back in the day. And now the exception to the rule is anybody talking some sense.

The Dangerous Rise of K2: America’s Cheapest High (Video)

K2 is a baaaad trip. Just watch this VICE News video on this whack marijuana substitute; comprised of plant matter sprayed with synthetic chemicals (designed to mimic the effects of marijuana’s active ingredient).

Weed is already lower-priced than most all illegal or controlled substances. However, VICE News reports (above) that K2 is currently America’s cheapest way to get high. The drug is often sold at corner stores, labeled as potpourri and unfit for human consumption. A bag of K2 sells for $5 to $10, while a joint goes for just $1.

The drug’s dangerous side effects have taken a toll on a wide variety of communities across the country, particularly in New York City. US poison control centers received more than 6,000 K2 calls in the first nine months of 2015, around a quarter of those calls came from NYC.

VICE News’ Nilo Tabrizy takes us to take a look a glimpse of the challenges New York City is facing with K2 through the lens of volunteer ambulance corps and harm reduction specialists in its outer boroughs.

Kanye West – “When I See It”

151012kimkan500

Spent the whole summer trying to be at the wrong place at the right time…

Maybe Yeezy’s singing li’l shorty to his ‘shawty’ (Kim) over The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends” instrumental. “When I See It” is an electro-mellow melody that’s over with before you know it. Cool though.
