Indiana Rome feat. Aloha Mi’Sho – “Need A Fan”
Some people complain that most rap videos are filled with nothing but high end cars and beautiful women. Well I see nothing wrong with nice cars and women but yes I agree some folks always follow the same blueprint. Indiana raised (St Louis based) emcee Indiana Rome drops the visuals for his track “I Need A Fan” featuring Aloha Mi’Sho. He keeps it simple with a nice tricked out Vette and Aloha Mi’Sho providing the feminine energy. Speaking of Aloha Misho she is not just looking pretty in the video but she also lays down some nice Aaliyah influenced vocals to the song. This is a track you can ride to off the Dope Dealer album available now on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon

Yasiin Bey Speaks On Ferguson, Michael Brown And Eric Garner
It’s only right we hear the considered words of Yasiin Bey on recent reminders of tragic realities of being Black in America. He uses the word ‘reaffirming’ – as in confirmation things have been eff’d up for Black folks here. But that realization is spoken (with noteworthy quotes laced into the mini-speech) to powerfully by Brother Bey here.
“Where are we? We are at a critical time. We are at a watershed moment… been here longer than we realize…”
– Yasiin Bey

Stephen Colbert: U-S-A! U-S-A! America’s Number One In The World… At Locking People Up (Video)
Soaking up all the Stephen Colbert cleverness – Tonight’s Word – on Comedy Central before he makes the leap from cable to big network TV (CBS’ Late Night With David Letterman’s replacement). The tongue-in-cheek ‘conservative’ pundit declares America is still Number 1 … in the number of people the country incarcerates (“in your face, China”)! He zeroes in on California’s prisons; but there is enough comedic jabbing for lots more in America to feel the King Of [Sarcastic] Sting.
Bumpy Knuckles x DJ Wayne Ski – “Cake” (Remix)
Ah Bumpy Knuckles and Wayne Ski. Guys after our own [horn-dog] hearts. The azz art work for this “Cake” remix… then the promo Instagram clip. See that after the jump. But don’t forget the lethally-laced lyrics over the keyed-up beat. Play that, they go play with… ummm (after the jump, you’ll see)…
Blank On Blank: Robin Williams’ 1991 Playboy Interview (Video)
“Comedy is there to basically show us we fart, we laugh. To make us realize we still are part animal…. So you don’t take yourself seriously and destroy the species.â€
– Robin Williams in 1991, as told to Lawrence Grobel.
PBS’ Blank on Blank series animates Robin Williams (RIP). The animated video provides insights on the late comedy mega-celeb via his 1991 Playboy interview. Sex and orgasm faces, world economy and government, film and farts as fuel in the future… so much crazy… BUT some stuff (like coming worldwide financial collapses) were eventually on the money.
House Shoes – “Dirt” feat. OhNo x The Alchemist x Roc Marciano (CohenBeats Remix)
Okay, they all go in… but Roc Marci… woooo! Like he was going for that Raekwon spot!! That’s how Hip-Hop is done; CohenBeats Remix of “Dirt” (off House Shoes’ LP “Let It Go” – featuring OhNo, The Alchemist and Roc Marciano with the strong finish).
When I was in Tel Aviv a few weeks ago I linked with the homie CohenBeats (@cohenbeatsaredope).
While we were chillin’ he played me a joint that had an ill intro on it,
and I told him it would be a great fit for a remix of the Dirt joint off of
Let It Go, my debut record from a few years back. He put it together and here you go.

Terminator: Genisys (Trailer)
The Terminator sequels continue with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but with a new cast of individuals to take up the roles of Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) & Reese (Jai Courtney). Directed by Alan Taylor, the film also stars Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, & JK Simmons. In this particular Terminator film the timeline of events in the original story has been altered due to a decision by Sarah that alters the course of time as the war continues. Not sure how this particular Terminator film will pan out, but we’ll see once it hits theaters this summer on July 1, 2015.

Score one for the unda’ground!! This BIGREC x R.A. The Rugged Man collab (with Diamond D on the beat) is a winner. And the video is as out there as the song is. Watch. Oh, the “Doomsday” album link follows for you to get that (via earlier post).
Dead Wrong: Fox News Pundits’ Slanted Coverage Of Ferguson Stirs Up Sh!t…And Jon Stewart Rubs Their Faces In It (Video)
BOOM! Jon Stewart cracks Fox News upside the dome again! Hypocrisy, calling Michael Brown the bad buy, poor framing of the true “systemic injustice†that went down in Ferguson and Fox News’ super-slanted reporting on events… as usual.
You know… you’d think they be tired of being on the wrong side (being a right-wing network)… or at least be tired of being beat down by clever comedic comic attacks from The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.
You’d think.
Eminem – “Guts Over Fear” feat. Sia (Video)
… f#ck am I gonna do? It’s too late to start over. This is the only thing I know…
– Eminem
Over the years, it’d be fair to say that Em has put it down on almost as many heartfelt confessional styled tracks as he has pitbull-vicious-attack tracks. This one, featuring Sia, is another of the former. “Guts Over Fear” available on the “SHADYXV” release by Eminem and various artists (out now). Visuals above. Links below.
