Mazzi x S.O.U.L. Purpose – “WYD?”
Hitting hard with the marching band style drumming from the start. And that line, “How come knowledge is so readily available but hidden?” That is should require a bit more than passive thought of you. Slow down when you play it back, but first time through just feel the flow.
“WYD” is a single from the Mazzi & S.O.U.L. Purpose “The Building” album!
As I Am: The Life + Times of DJ AM (Documentary Trailer)
DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, was born in Philadelphia (PA, USA) but belonged to the world. A tragic loss of life and light way too soon, Showtime is debuting the telling his story tonight (9pm EST) in the documentary film “As I Am: The Life and Times of DJ AM.” A story to watch as soon as it comes out; told to reveal a deeper truth, with respect, and oftentimes in AM’s own voice.
Wow.
Stro Elliot – “A 01 The Summer Love Song”
House Shoes shares are the dopest. Gotta love when a DJ does the real duty of hipping the masses to the Mos’ Def (once your hear Yasiin in there, you’ll get that) tracks that might otherwise slip by us. Beautiful booming banger of a “Summer Love Song” with the promise of more on the way from Stro Elliot.
In the midst of all the hate in the world,
I felt like sharing some LOVE.
The first leak from Stro Elliot’s self-titled debut LP on Street Corner Music, coming this fall.
Big shouts to the homie DJ LowKey from Denver for looking out.

You see Daniel Radcliffe. You see Toni Collette. But this is no fantasy epic. No comedy. And yes, it’s a movie; but in America today, it’s not all fiction. Great trailer. Good bet for a great film experience.
