25 Years Later, Ayanna Jackson Speaks On 2Pac And The Sexual Assault Case (Video)

Okay. That’s a nice-looking Honey though. Let’s just get that said already. But we know that Ayanna Jackson, the one who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993, has a story to tell that touches off emotionally-charged firestorms on all sides of Pac fandom & hate, assault & empowerment… all kinds of stuff.

In this VladTV exclusive clip, Vlad sat down with Ayanna Jackson, a woman who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993. As a result, 2Pac was convicted of first-degree sexual assault and sentenced to one-and-a-half to four-and-a-half years in prison.

Jackson noted that the interview with Vlad is the first time she went on-camera to discuss the events that took place, ultimately leading up to the incarceration of the rapper. Jackson laid out how old she was when she met the rapper–around 19-years-old, along with the location they connected.

This is Part 1 of Ayanna telling her story to Vlad. Much more after the jump.

Aries Spears Speaks On Black Thought’s Funk Flex Freestyle And Challenges Young Rappers To Step Up (Video)

Lean in around 7 minutes in. You are gonna need to watch this entire clip. But Aries Spears is speaking REAL LIFE to REAL HIP-HOP in this. Right there #ThatPart

And yeah. Being young, of a different era, that ‘old heads did drugs, gangsta ish and money talk rhymes, too’… stop it with all that; and hold this ‘L’ if you can’t.

Wack was wack back then. And it is now.

Salute to ALL artists for the COURAGE it takes to share your gift. Respect. But we LOVE dope music. At best, we ‘cool’ on the rest. And when we talk about being dope, we speak to the greatest in rap We mean those who speak to the Hip-Hop Nation. Folks we can stand on 20+ years later.

I submit all the music I try-out to a 20-year test. Black Thought and those of his ilk (Andre 3K, Scarface, Common, and many more) passed. I submit that Joey Bada$$, K. Dot, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky… will pass that test. But a lot of that work that Aries sh!t on in this will not.

Time will tell. And bet it won’t take 20 years.

Eddie Griffin Calling On Psych-Medical Professionals To Declare Trump A ‘Lunatic’ (Video)

Well, damn, Eddie. How do you really feel? Pretty much like a lot of folks… but LOUDER, ROWDIER, and REALER.

Comedian Eddie Griffin is no stranger to voicing his opinion, in part 1 of “The Truth” the funnyman goes on a harangue about Donald Trump’s presidency and how him being an “adolescent adult” will likely lead to another World War. “A childish motherf**ker — I don’t know what happened, but something traumatic happened in Trump’s life around 14 or 15 years old because he’s stuck at that age,” expells Griffin. He then goes on to explain how Kim Jong-Un also had a traumatic adolescence that has led to the two of them going back and forth.

He also says “This a coup pulled off by the Russians, Trump’s motherf**kin’ treasonist ass, the alt-right, KKK, neo-nazis all conspired pulled off a coup of the United States presidency.” Watch the clip to hear him tell it like it is about what’s going on in America and why no one is speaking up.

DL Hughley Speaks On Generational Wealth, The Struggle For Civil Rights For Gay People Vs. Black People, And How Comedy Has Helped Humans Evolve (Video)

Black people are jealous of gay people… It’s not hate. It’s jealousy.

Interesting how taglines are chosen. This clip is actually a Part 10 of what we thought was a six-part conversation with DL Hughley. And it is entitled “Black People are Jealous of Gay People,” which is covered in here. BUT Hughley’s thoughts on how important and intrinsic comedy is to humanity are the bulk of what was discussed, and so incredibly insightful. Watch above.

D.L. Hughley opened up to VladTV about his thoughts on generational wealth, his favorite comedians, and how comedy has helped humans evolve.

When it comes to his favorite comedians, D.L. named off Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Redd Foxx, and Robin Harris, and he shared why Dick Gregory and Mark Twain illustrated the human condition in the best way. He also mentioned coming up with Jamie Foxx and being mad that someone could be as talented as the “Ray” actor.

After sharing his thoughts on how Ellen was integral in the way people saw the gay community, D.L. explains how comedy has led to the evolution of humans. You can hear more about what he had to say in the above clip.

Throwback: Buckshot Says Sean Price Saved Duck Down (Video)

Ruck saved us. I’mma just give it to you real simple and plain. Ruck saved us.”

Know what… even back then… even when the crew and the Hip-Hop Nation was still hurting from losing Ruck (aka Sean Price), Buckshot did not have to declare that. But in this throwback interview, Buck (Duck Down’s co-founder, mind you) speaks unbridled truth about P! hitting that booth and continuously hitting us all with street HEAT! There was a while when Price was dropping sh!t weekly or more frequently. Keeping Duck Down and real Hip-Hop alive.

Respect to Buck. For saying this, and for paying full respect (watch the whole clip to see how real that statement is) to Sean Price.

Tyrin Turner Reveals That “Menace II Society” Was An Answer To A Prayer (Video)

How crazy is that? Well not too crazy actually, depending on where you hold the power of spirituality in your life. But according to the clip above, the “Menace II Society” opportunity (to play Caine) came along in time to answer Tyrin Turner’s desperate plea to the Heavens from his front lawn; right as moms was really pressuring him to get a job and live a ‘responsible life’ that he did NOT want to live.

Los Angeles actor Tyrin Turner here speaks to VladTV about the chain of events that led to him landing the role of Caine in “Menace II Society,” and the group of actors and musicians he worked with on the film, among them Jada Pinkett, Too Short, and 2Pac. Pac, Turner says, read for a part in the movie but wasn’t happy with his character. “2Pac came into the reading. We all started rehearsing and in the middle of it 2Pac was like, ‘Man, I can’t get into this character.'” Get the full story above.

Talib Kweli tells Vlad that Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Ugly God and the other young’uns in the rap game have something to teach the rap vets. No, helllll nooo; not about putting out good music. Rather, they know how to get a buzz that gets heat for an artist without paying playing the radio game. And that game has gotten even more expensive and more ‘in the shadows’ nowadays.

Heather Hunter: Former Adult Industry Icon & Hip-Hop Insider Speaks (Video)

Vlad interviewed Heather Hunter. I will post most anything I can on Heather Hunter. Dude. Before porn was online, before I could even get it via discreet mail order, Heather’s were performances you sought in that back room of the video rental store or in your homies’ sock drawer stashes. Respect to Vanessa Del Rio, Angel Kelly, and countless other adult film actresses I have enjoyed… but Heather was the MAJOR! Moreover, she experienced cross-industry success in a way others have not. She literally had licks AND lyrics that made men AND women go WOW. Facts!

So how & why did she do it? What happened during & after? Why’d she stop? She tells Vlad. Score and salute for the scoop on this one, sir.

Heather Hunter has enjoyed successful careers in both the film and music industries, and she revealed that while many people would think it would be taboo to come from the industry to music, she got nothing but love. Heather explained that she always had a closeness with the Hip-Hop industry after growing up in the Bronx and frequenting Latin Quarter, one of the first clubs in NYC to play Hip-Hop. Heather added that she was able to work with some big names, including Scott Storch, Timbaland, Uncle Luke, and Akinyele, who mentored her at the beginning of her music career.

During the conversation, Heather also spoke about getting her start in her career after being discovered in the strip club when she was eighteen, after starting in the club just a couple of years earlier when she left home. She added that just one year after being in the business she started working for Vivid as a contract girl, which Heather admitted opened up a lot of opportunities. To hear more from Heather, including why she decided to fully retire from the industry, hit the above clip.

More after the jump.

Definition Of A Down A** Chick: Miko Grimes (Video)

Full disclosure: I really did not know who Miko Grimes was. Not important. Her eventual husband did, and while we might infer that things weren’t always heavenly, hearing her talk about how she rides for him… man… intense! Might even say HOT. Something very ’90s Hip-Hop about this Gangsta Chick. Gotta admit that I like it. Even though I know she’s a handful.

Okay, two handfuls (wink). Do you SEEEEE that top? Fitting her where she’s so gifted. Wowzers!

Suffice it to say, Miko Grimes is the business. But she is well-informed and about her business, so you really gotta hope her man (husband, Brent Grimes, pro ball player) stays on point. Miko’s outspoken on some of everything: from the treatment of NFL players, shutting down groupies and hangers-on, and much more (as shown in the sit-down vid above).

Regarding career ups & downs for her former Falcon, then former Dolphin, hubby Brent, Miko gives her side of those goings down, too. Again I say WOW. Of course, I know Miko would absolutely DESTROY me (I’d fall too hard and stay down). But ohhhh, what a way to go!

Dr. Umar Johnson: outspoken, massively popular… and a target. In the above interview, he clarifies that high-profile people, such as himself, are targeted by media spinners and even women with unknown motives; specifically, a woman he met in Florida who calls herself the “Conscious Stripper.” She turned on Dr. Johnson in a very public way, and in the fallout from the incident he lost a million-dollar donation from an NBA player he would not name. Dr. Johnson declared that if he had known that he was going to be famous, he would have gotten married before the fame. Marriage calms you down and keeps you out of trouble.

Hmmm… something to consider guys… Put a ring on her, so she can rein you in.

Redman Speaks On Beef Being More Aggressive Back In The 90s, MC Hammer Confronting Him And More (Video)

Social media has changed music in general, including how rappers beef nowadays. Back in the 1990s, if beef was real, rap dudes came to SEE you and get it on strong! Redman comments on how social media gives artists a chance to start, then settle, beef before it gets physical. He quickly follows up that overall, it is a good thing that artists don’t have to get violent nowadays. BUT… he does recall how real beefing can get. MC Hammer let Red know back in the day.

Speaking [about] rap beef, Redman shared a story about the time MC Hammer confronted him at the taping of the last Yo! MTV Raps episode over his diss on his debut album. Redman pointed out that MC Hammer is very serious about beef, adding that he knew the “2 Legit 2 Quit” rapper wasn’t messing around when he stepped to him at the show.
DJ Vlad

Haha! Red is hilarious, but speaking realness. Great clip!
