Dave East Is Happy For The New Generation, But They Do Not Do It Like He Does (Video)

Hard Knock Tv’s Nick Huff Barili sits down with Dave East for an in-depth interview at Truth Studios. In part 3, Dave shares what conversations were like early on with Nas when they first met and later what advice Nas, who signed him in 2014, has given him. Dave East also talks about there needing to be subgenres in Rap because what he and Lil Uzi Vert do are not the same. Dave said he is happy for the new generation of rappers doing their thing but lyricism and storytelling is more his thing.

It’s time to get your car ready for racing without getting your hands dirty. “Wrench” is an indie game for virtual reality that lets players assemble photorealistic components for a custom race car. Players diagnose problems with their speed machines and try to fix them.
The game is still in development, and the developers say it won’t include any driving simulation either.

Man oh man. Rest in peace to the legendary Fats Domino!
Fats Domino was one of the most popular rockers of the 1950s and early 60s. His achievements and record sales during that time were rivaled only by Elvis Presley. With his boogie-woogie piano-playing rooted in blues, rhythm & blues, and jazz, he became one of the inventors, along with Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard of a revolutionary genre of music, rock ‘n’ roll.

We might argue about that list of rock ‘n’ roll architects, but PBS is on point with this documentary. Good fodder for discussion and/or a primer for those who need to backfill knowledge about who the world just lost.

Japanese adult game developer Hibiki Works recently performed a VR assisted wedding between a man and the anime character of his dreams. The wedding – which actually took place in a chapel in Tokyo – was part of Hibiki Works’ promotion of their upcoming game “Niizuma: Lovely x Cation.â€
