Comedy: Patrick Stewart As Every Annoying Passenger On The Plane (Video)

This is so funny because I’ve run across every type of these airline passengers. Guaranteed you lose it at “my genitals were almost in your mouth” (okay… pause, @ojones1 said he did). Sir Patrick Stewart. Starfleet Captain. Mutant Mentor. Hilarious in this Jimmy Kimmel Live skit.

The Great Marijuana Debate: Nancy Grace vs. 2 Chainz (Video)

Nancy Grace. Please. Use your inside voice. Want some smoke? A “big fat doobie” perhaps to calm down?

Rapper 2 Chainz made some very sensible points about legalizing marijuana. Don’t get frustrated when Nancy cuts him off (a lot) and yells (a bit). That’s just how she is on her show. Good commentary about individual responsibility, child rearing, economics, the criminal justice system and more. The full show segment featuring the debate above. Watch and discuss.

Missed Opportunity: How Tonight Show Host Jimmy Fallon Passed Up On Nicole Kidman Back In The Day (Video)

So, Nicole Kidman was over to Jimmy Fallon’s apartment back in the day. A friend brought her over. Okay. And she was feeling dude. Okaaayyy. And…

…and NOTHING! Jimmy messed it up. Made no moves. She thought he was brushing her off; did not think he was interested in her at all. True story. Watch in disbelief as Nicole tells the story.

Eminem vs. Cassidy – Rap Battle (Animation)

Boom! Eminem vs. Cassidy. This is fun. I’ll let you watch and decide if it’s lyrical sport or comedy or vanguard art in Hip-Hop or what. I liked it, so I shared it; because I’m that kind of dude. I will say that it’s okay to nod your head, laugh, cover your mouth (with the “ooohhh” sound)… all while watching. Hmm… just like at a real cipher.

Comedy: Chris Bosh Is Back In ‘Tall Justice 2’ (Trailer)

Ohhh man! The one thing you have to agree with us on… we’ve all laughed at some viral post on Chris Bosh. Talented b-baller, no doubt. But funny is funny.

Chris Bosh returns to NBA TV this fall as Chris Justice in Tall Justice.

Chris, your partner’s not dead…He just moved to Cleveland — CLASSIC! And if you lie and say you never laughed at at least a Bosh meme… kill yourself… laughing. Watch this clip (might die laughing anyway). Hahaaaha!

Comedy: Ghostface Killah Speaks On ‘Serious’ Topics Of The Day – Obama, Cosby And More (Video)

The microchip is real. This ain’t fake baby… Neither is your man Tony Starks, even when he is being funny. Skydiving, foot massages, police “protecting and serving” and so much gets touched in a relatively short clip.

“He put in work. He just gotta f#ck problem…Bill shocked me…”
Ghostface Killah

Ghost said dudes shouldn’t do ballet and The Coz was wildin’ out back in the day. Wow. The range. Random as hell; but you cannot help but watch to the end.

Pardon The Interruption: DJ Premier x Royce Da 5’9 Crashes Phonte’s ‘PRhyme’-Time Interview (Video)

You plan for the unexpected as best you can, and it still happens. But if you are lucky, that’s a good thing!

PRhyme, also known as DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9,” made their way into the STASHED studio as we were interviewing Phonte. Rather than having them wait, the three old friends all joined in one long conversation. Among the topic discussed include their history together, being grown men in Hip-Hop, and possibly working together on a new project.

It’s a happy half-hour of eavesdropping you will gladly spend with Phonte (Phontigallo-tigallo-tigallo), DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9…if you simply click play above.

“Who’s Driving Hip Hop” Has Headkrack Along For The Ride (Video)

I find this “Who’s Driving Hip-Hop” concept to be hella creative & dope. Heavy on the guest and their story; but also taking care of business (mentioning the vehicle they’re in; best believe somebody kicked in on the budget for the promo mention). Good guest selection by the way: Headkrack (of Bodega Brovas) is an on-air radio personality, a character on or offline and a dope emcee (earlier posts on him here).

VICE: The Real Kenny Powers (Documentary)

The HBO comedy ‘Eastbound and Down’ ushered in of a new type of dark hilarity and became a television cult classic in the process. The protagonist, Kenny Powers, is an obnoxious, crass Southerner who has fallen from grace after his professional baseball career has abruptly ended. But who was the inspiration for the character?

Saw a couple of episodes but really did not follow the HBO show starring Danny McBride. This VICE expo might make me go find a season or two though. Interesting factoids and insights brought out by VICE reporter Gianna Toboni. Here’s a good one to start: McBride and “The Real Kenny Powers” (widely believed to be former Atlanta Braves baseball standout John Rocker) were both born in the same hospital in Statesboro (Georgia, USA). Small town, small world.

You can’t fix ‘sucks’…
John Rocker

Macklemore Speaks On Race, Injustice, Kendrick, Iggy And More (Video)

You’re here now. Like lots of blogs, trying to title these things in an eye-catching way AND have something posted worthwhile is a challenge to say the least.

“Silence is an action…”
Macklemore

He said that. The epitome of pop White rap success said that. But trust he is NOT silent in this video. DEEP conversation on all that is promised in the title. But PLEASE do not play this to check for the names you saw. That’s for the search engines. Watch and listen for perspective and to gain insight. Respect Ebro and Macklemore for this engaging discussion.

Comedy: Kevin Hart Explains The Difference Between ‘White’ & ‘Black’ Strip Club Culture (Video)

I agree with Kevin Hart 100% on this & have even said the same thing on my Twitter page. All strip clubs are not created equal. I don’t discriminate when it comes to women, but I do tend to avoid the “white strip clubs.” Hahaaa

Azealia Banks Speaks The Raw And Real On Grand Hustle Family, T.I., Iggy Azalea, Black Music And More (Video)

I honestly don’t know much about Azealia Banks’ music, but I’ve seen her commentary on twitter about quite a number of things & I’ve often retweeted a few things she said on social media that proved to me that she’s wise & aware beyond her 23 years. When I saw everyone talking about her recent interview it piqued my interest to see what the fuss was about. After watching this interview I’m more of a fan of Azealia Banks the person even though I’m not too familiar with her music.
