Fold, Eat, Repeat: Experience New York A Slice At A Time (Video)
Nothing like a New York slice! And we got ’em (and the stories behind ’em) in this episode of The Pizza Show.
New York is the birthplace of many things, but for today’s purposes, we’re sticking to pizza. Frank starts with a quick history lesson from Scott Wiener, the owner of Scott’s Pizza Tours. Then, we hit the streets to see and taste the history for ourselves. The best thing about the city’s pizza scene is that it’s relatively young, so you can still eat slices from the ovens of the people that started it all and put New York pizza on the map.
We meet the granddaughters of the man that literally brought pizza over from Naples, and even see the ovens that he used. Then, we hit all the best slices from Greenwich Village to Soho, and finish in Brooklyn at Luigi’s Pizza, a place untouched by time.

Taking “The Pizza Show” On The Road… To Detroit (Video)
“Hey bruh, let’s get a slice” are words you have heard, or at least understand folks saying, in New York… and Chicago… and Detroit… and (record screeches, whimsical background music stops)… Wait what!!
Detroit might be known as the motor city, but it’s also the pizza city. Our host Frank Pinello heads west to try out the thick-crusted, rectangular pies unique to the city. We start our tour with the classics—Buddy’s, Cloverleaf, and Loui’s—before heading to some of Detroit’s newer spots like Amar Pizza and Suppino Pizzeria. And it wouldn’t be a trip to Detroit without a visit to one of the most infamous pizza names to come out of the Mitten State—Little Caesars. Motown is definitely the dough town.

How are we gonna survive high school?
It’s a funny question, sorta. You remember it was a big deal; and in some hoods it could be that dangerous. Dope theme music running through this trailer, somebody should’ve found a way to throw “On My Black” by Scarface in there. Plenty of episodes (10) for binging soon… maybe they will.
On My Block, co-created by Lauren Iungerich (creator of Awkward) and Eddie Gonzalez & Jeremy Haft, is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in the rough inner city. 25 Years Later, Ayanna Jackson Speaks On 2Pac And The Sexual Assault Case (Video)
Okay. That’s a nice-looking Honey though. Let’s just get that said already. But we know that Ayanna Jackson, the one who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993, has a story to tell that touches off emotionally-charged firestorms on all sides of Pac fandom & hate, assault & empowerment… all kinds of stuff.
In this VladTV exclusive clip, Vlad sat down with Ayanna Jackson, a woman who accused 2Pac and his associates of rape in 1993. As a result, 2Pac was convicted of first-degree sexual assault and sentenced to one-and-a-half to four-and-a-half years in prison.
Jackson noted that the interview with Vlad is the first time she went on-camera to discuss the events that took place, ultimately leading up to the incarceration of the rapper. Jackson laid out how old she was when she met the rapper–around 19-years-old, along with the location they connected.
This is Part 1 of Ayanna telling her story to Vlad. Much more after the jump.

Killer Mike On Why People, White And Black, Are Mad (Video)
Damn. Michael Render with the real talk. Gotta use Killer Mike’s government name because it’s so real! Ever wonder why poor and working class White people vote against their interests… aligning with Republicans who want to defund programs that benefit them and give tax cuts for citizens who make way more than they do? Because the flag-waving and make-American-great-again chanting has them thinking the ‘trickle down’ from those ‘job creators’ will become a wave of prosperity they can ride to the top [and someday join the 1%]?
Nah… Mike says it’s because they’re mad, son!
I think poor White people are mad because the system that promises you something based on that isn’t ever going to give you that … Poor white people during the civil rights movement in Mississippi they were treated as badly as any Black worker. But because there was an imaginary line of race got put there and they can still say they are superior to this person, they never joined with the Black worker to fight better conditions for them all.
– Killer Mike
But hold up, Black people. Mike has some biting words for his people, too.
A must watch!
(Yeah. We ALL have a right to be angry. But what are we gonna do about it?)

People Do Know That Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Is NOT On Twitter… Don’t They? (Video)
Since this is Donald Trump’s first MLK Day in office we decided to commemorate it by going out on the street and asking people whose side they were on in the Donald Trump/Dr. King Twitter war. Of course, Martin Luther King has been gone for 50 years but that didn’t stop people from weighing in on this impossible feud in an MLK Day edition of #LieWitnessNews.
– Jimmy Kimmel Live
Sometimes you just gotta laugh at sh!t. Like this Kimmel clip. Hope they don’t end up starting a ‘real’ Trump Tweet beef with Dr. MLK Jr. (RIP) Prediction on that: Would be reeeeeally one-sided.
(But you knew that. Some of these interviewees, well, may not.)
