Italdesign and the aerospace industry leader Airbus unveiled Pop.Up, a trailblazing modular ground and air passenger concept vehicle system to relieve the traffic congestion in megacities of the future.
And really cool, huh?

Hey people. This is happening. They got ‘Wall E’ from the movies (well, it looks like it…anyway) delivering your food now. Get your hoagies & chips, you gyros or whatever brought to you by a robot. Convenience encapsulated in mobile tech form. Rolling your order right on over at a [relatively] speedy 4 miles per hour, programmed not to run into stuff and to arrive safe & secure (like “they’ll email you a code to unlock the delivery case when it arrives” secure) for you to enjoy.
Starship Technology (maker of the deilivery bot) has partnered with Postmates (online ordering company) to make this all happen. Starship says this whole thing is still in its infancy, but this baby is a live baby, baby.

When Rob Anderson (Marlon Wayans), a charming man-child, arrives in Charleston the night before he is about to marry the woman of every man’s dreams, Megan Swope (Regina Hall), he hasn’t written his vows, learned the steps for the first dance, or even remembered to bring the ring. Instead of taking care of his responsibilities, Rob goes out for a night on the town with his best man (Jonathan Todd Jackson). Then something unexpected happens… Rob wakes up naked in an elevator with no idea how he got there. When the elevator doors open Rob is shocked to find that it’s late in the morning and he has only one hour to get to the church or miss his own wedding. He tries desperately to get to the chapel, streaking through a city marathon, stealing clothes, avoiding capture by local police, a near death confrontation with a vicious motorcycle gang, and many other obstacles only to find himself waking up in the elevator again and again. Some unknown force has conspired to make Rob live this hour repeatedly until he finally grows up and becomes the man that his amazing fiancée deserves to marry. On Netflix August 11.

Recently Published Footage Calls Events Preceding Mike Brown’s Death Into Question (Video)

LOOK at this and TRY not to get mad. Remember the Michael Brown case; the Ferguson police murder (er…arrest)? Well, additional footage dropped that shows the strong-arm robbery Brown supposedly perpetrated on the owner – the video footage of which was leaked, somehow ‘justifying’ the arresting officer’s use of lethal force – did not tell the entire story. See, above is another piece of footage that shows an orderly exchange, perhaps even a DEAL struck between Brown and the store owner. Strange how that’s been left out of the conversation until now, huh?
For all unaware (read: NOT ‘woke’), THAT is how you paint a negative narrative using ‘actual footage.’ You don’t put out all the footage, just the part that supports the story you want told, AND negates the one you don’t. Whatever happened, Mike Brown should NOT be dead. TRUTH! The ‘strong arm video’ was meant to sell us on the bad-things-happen-to-bad-people story. Wrong story, okay. ‘They’ (e.g. those who want you to believe that Mike Brown was ‘not so good enough’ that he deserved to live to be tried like a citizen) WANTED that video to be seen to support their story, not the one this new footage tells…
HUH! Their lawyer disputes the new footage and what it might reveal… Ya think?

The newest activity tracking device may not even be a device. Austin-based software design firm Chaotic Moon Studios has created a concept prototype for tech tattoos, a circuit that you can wear on the surface of your skin. The components are attached with conductive paint, and can monitor health and activity stats, authorize charges for purchases and many other potential applications.
Yeah, while I’m not a tat guy, some folks who are might get into this. And that Justice League thing… I might go with being a Six-Million Dollar Man or one of the Bionic Six (Google/YouTube it, old school rules).

Woman Loses 180 Pounds After Doctors Remove Extra Large Tumor (Video)

Mary Clancey, 71, over the years, had steadily gained weight to tip the scales at 360 pounds. She worked at a candy counter for the longest time, and short round women run in her family. Getting heavier was just a fact of her life she guessed… until she lost 180 pounds all of a sudden. Now, her diet and activity plans are simple and joyful.
“I can eat everything. I can do everything,†she said. “Life is good and everything is in place. But the story is absolutely insane.â€
The story? Oh, she had a 140-pound tumor and 40 pounds of extra skin removed.
