Nice interview short Issa Rae did with Stephen Colbert as she was making the rounds promoting the second season of her acclaimed HBO original series “Insecure.” Have you peeped that yet, by the way? I am withholding judgment overall; some things going on this season I can f**ks with, other stuff not so much… But I am not sure if one of those not-so-much things will trigger a permanent Sunday night channel change for me. We’ll see.

Alright. I will tell you from the start that this is NOT going to be anywhere near as badass as your super-duper-smartphone. But if you spend your time picking at what this cell phone cannot do, you will miss appreciating the glorious technological step forward it represents. The holy grail of power systems is developing a perpetual motion-driven energy source (does not exist), but a very acceptable step down from that is powering things with virtually limitless source energy (like solar). BUT… what if we took a half step down and eliminated the need for a power source altogether? THAT is where THIS is going!
Researchers at the University of Washington have created a cell phone that uses so little power, it never needs to charge and doesn’t have a battery. Instead, it pulls power from ambient light and radio waves.

Bernice Burgos, the model (not ‘video vixen’ because she does NOT like that title) who has been placed at the epicenter of the TI–Tiny breakup quake, presented her case on the radio waves the other day. Kinda makes sense, since she is being tried in the court of public opinion for being a homewrecker for the most part. Speaking of ‘tried’… she spoke on (among lots of other things) her social media war with Tiny during the interview; claiming her online clap-backs were more self-defense than sucker punches.
I was shocked at myself, I’m very disappointed in what I did. Social media sometimes will put you in a place that you have to fight with people that you don’t know. I was listening to social media, so many lies, so many you this, you that, like wait a minute…

Jenna built her Tiny Home with her Partner and they traveled in it for a year from Alaska to Florida. They ended their partnership. Jenna parked the Tiny House in Oregon.

Hunting For Animals, With A Camera, In One Spot In The Woods (Video)

Talk about biodiversity! Plus, there is something soothing about nature; at least watching it. Would not want to come across any of these animals just being out in the woods. On video is fine. Relaxing.
A camera set up in National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, Italy, filmed a tree for 365 days. A myriad of animals visited the spot including bears, deer, wild boar, wolves, and badgers.

What a stupid idea it was – that people thought you could actually get away with this. That you could actually ban alcohol… It’s a preposterous idea.
We now have movies and shows like “The Untouchables” and “Boardwalk Empire” to show us just how crazy alcohol prohibition legislation and enforcement was in America. Of course, NOW we see it was doomed to fail. But when the nation was ‘in it’ and trying to ‘legislate morality,’ the government and people who believed taking sinful booze out of society was in its best interest, people who did not agree (and those who sold and used the then illegal substance) were criminalized.
We are going through something similar now. You see where I am going right? I’m sure Ken Burns thought about it, too. You get it yet?
Okay, watch the trailer and everywhere alcohol is referenced, insert marijuana. Hmmmm.
